Re: Documentation Error: ps5000aOpenUnit

The entry point in the driver code is

Code: Select all

PICO_STATUS PREF2 ps5000aOpenUnit(int16_t* handle, int8_t* serial, PS5000A_DEVICE_RESOLUTION resolution)
as reflected in the ps5000aApi.h header file.

For .Net string is a reference type and it behaves as a reference, so passing by value is correct.

Re: Meaure mains with PicoScope 2204

To measure mains with a PicoScope 2204a will require the use of an appropriate category rated differential probe or an isolation transformer. We cannot advise any other approach for this. Even with care accidents can happen. To try any other approach risks damage to the circuit being tested, the sco...

Re: Picoscope 2408 Driver

It looks like you may have PicoScope 6 open from your screenshot, if it is open and connected to the scope the LabVIEW examples will not work.

Connect your probe to channel A and then put the probe tip into the SigGen BNC port (Marked AWG)

Re: Oscilloscope Ihput Resistance Tempco

Please email support@picotech.com for this request and provide them with details of your probe and whether you are using the single or double BNC to 9 way adapter. The team will then be able to discuss this in detail with the engineering team.

The serial number is located below the barcode on the underside of the unit and will look something like AB123/4567

Re: Error 268440457 in ps5000OpenUnit

For the 5444D you need to be running the ps5000a examples, https://github.com/picotech/picosdk-ni- ... er/ps5000a , the ones you have are for very old discontinued models.

Re: Combination of old and new TC-08?

If your old logger looks like the current ones, is blue and uses a direct USB connection, then yes and you can run both devices at the same time. If it is the original model, silver/black with a 9 way d type serial connection, then not with PicoLog 6 but you would be able to use both devices in Pico...

Re: Persistence mode configuration

Right click and select "Auto-Arrange axes" so that you can separate the channels to see what is happening. You will notice that the colours of the traces are not linked to the channel colours as you are using the persistence mode "Digital Colour".
