Re: Limit of data capturing number

The leak was related to the drawing of traces, the memory wasn't being recovered if the data was automatically saved to file. It was being recovered if you just went on to drawing the next buffer without any save. You can clearly see the effect by looking at memory use with the Processes tab of Task...

Re: Multiple Picos?

I am not sure what you are trying to do :? As I mentioned the use of ps2000_get_unit_info will allow you to group the device handles, that windows assigns, to the scope's serial number. The place to do this is in your application, performing it in a standalone application is not necessary. If you ru...

Re: No advanced trigger on 2205 MSO

The developers found an issue yesterday and have built a new driver to fix it.

I will get a copy shortly and, once I have tested it, will post it here.

Re: lowish frequency audio noise anlaysis

The device that is designed for this type of audio analysis is the PicoScope 4262 http://www.picotech.com/picoscope4262-s ... tions.html

Hopefully it's within your budget.

Re: Long time CAN decoding and triggering

Is it possible to use Picoscope 6 and the API at the same time on 1 device ? No, only one connection can be made at a time. Is it possible to make a plug-in for Picoscope 6 witch receives all incoming data and can generate a trigger. We don't have any mechanisms to handle plugins at the present tim...

Re: Long time CAN decoding and triggering

Unfortunately it is not possible to import files generated by another application into PicoScope6, the only data files that can be read are the psdata files produced by the software. Apart from adding display functionality to your own application I am not sure that there is anything we can currently...

Re: Multiple Picos?

Yes, there is a function call ps2000_get_unit_info which will allow you to do this. You will then need to use this information as the handle assigned to each unit could be different on each boot cycle.

Full details are in the SDK which you can download from http://www.picotech.com/software.html

It will be less than 2W with both USB and Ethernet plugged in although I don't have exact figures.

Re: A question on FFT averages and peak amplitude

FFT is not my area so I am unable to comment on whether your adapted protocol is roughly equivalent to those indicated previously. With your question regarding amplitude isn't it the case that by decreasing/increasing the number of bins more/less component of the signal gets included in a particular...

Re: 3204A limited to 1.25M samples?

If you are free running, or using repeat/auto triggers, and 1 channel enabled you will only have half of the memory available to fit a waveform in. If you enable single trigger then the full memory will be used.
