Re: ETS trace may lose timing accuracy if 3+ channels in use

Hi lab!fyi , We have tried to replicate your setup as closely as we can, including using a fast edge, but we have so far been unable to repeat the issue. Below is a screenshot using a slightly modified version of your settings and it shows a reasonably stable signal: 2408B_ETS_Capture.PNG We will tr...

Re: PS2000 ps2000_overview_buffer_status return value

Hi tmm, It looks as though there is an error in the Programmer's Guide which I will report - 0 indicates an error, and 1 indicates that the function executed successfully. The PS2000Imports.cs and example file have been updated to use this function - you can obtain these from our GitHub repository ....

Re: ETS trace may lose timing accuracy if 3+ channels in use

Hi lab!fyi,

Would it be possible for settings or data files for the two scenarios please? We can then investigate this using the files provided.

What are the input signals on the scope?

Thanks,

Re: Capturing Single Shot Signal With MATLAB

Hi dnieltjhin, The error code returned from the driver function call can be converted to a hexadecimal number using the dec2hex() function in MATLAB. The PicoStatus.m class in the PicoScope Support Toolbox can be then used to look up the error/warning, in this case PICO_INVALID_TIMEBASE (0xE). I can...

Re: SetPulseWidthQualifier - no triggering

Hi BlahaK, For a pulse width trigger you need to combine the pulse width qualifier with a level trigger (as opposed to a Window trigger), so please change the following for the : myProp[0].ThresholdMode = Imports.ThresholdMode.Level; For a negative pulse, the pulse width counter needs to reset on a ...

Re: Capturing Single Shot Signal With MATLAB

Hi dnieltjhin, You can control the functionality from the same script. Here's what you will need to do: Call setSigGenBuiltIn() before starting the data collection Call the Instrument Driver's ps5000aRunBlock() function Call ps5000aSigGenSoftwareControl() Call ps5000aIsReady() in a loop until the de...
