Re: 2204 AWG and stand-alone app?

Hi Steven

We don't have a stand alone app for just controlling the AWG but you could use the API functions in the PicoSDK to create a custom application to do this

Re: Faster PicoLog Sampling Rate

Hi If you're wanting to sample at high rates then using the PicoScope 6 software would probably be more suitable as this functions as something similar to a traditional front end. The PicoLog software is designed for long term logging of data so it has limits on the sample rate to allow this without...

Re: ps6000EnumerateUnits NULL not accepted

Hi The values being passed need to be pointer so a null pointer would be needed for the serials input but the serials length input doesn't accept a null value so you should need to a 0 to this as that is the "length" of the serials input. We do have some new examples for python being created current...

Re: Driver question

Hi

There has been a driver installation bug fix in the latest version of PicoLog 6 available from our downloads page https://www.picotech.com/downloads
Would you be able to see whether this solves the problem you've been having?

Re: ps2000_get_timebase2

Hi

Usually getTimebase2 returns the time interval as a float type number rather than a 32 bit integer type, though the PS2000 driver doesn't have a documented ps2000_get_timebase2 API function.

Where did you find this function?

Re: 2208 Sweep Measurement

Hi

When performing a FFT on a signal to transform it from time domain to frequency domain as happens for the Spectrum Mode in PicoScope 6, you should get a peak at 0 Hz which corresponds to the DC component of the signal.

Re: PicoVNA, programming

Hi I think a look at your code would be needed to check what is happening with setEnhance parameters. Would you be able to send it into support@picotech.com so I can have a look please. Currently there is no way to change the separator for the values returned by the VNA but I can raise this with our...

Re: PS5244B with Only One Channel enabled

Hi

To use the fastest timebase all but one channel must be disabled so they don't measure any signals at all so can't be used for triggering. If you needed to collect data from one channel and trigger from another you would need to use the a slower timebase.

Re: Employer is requiring a UL or IEC standard

Hi Glade

Do you mean you require a calibration traceable to national standard?
If this isn't what you are asking about would you be able to email support@picotech.com with a full description of your requirement and one of our team will look into this for you.

Re: Sampling Multiple Channels Simultaneously?

Hi

The choice of python over C shouldn't make an impact, would you be able to email your code in to support@picotech.com so that either myself or another member of the support team can have a look at it to understand what you are doing and test solutions to your problem?

Re: Sampling Multiple Channels Simultaneously?

Hi When using block mode, rapid block mode or streaming mode the scope will collect data from all active channels. So for collecting from 3 channels you would just need to set up and activate 3 of the channels before calling RunBlock or RunStreaming to get data collected from all three channels simu...

Re: Hi need help

Hi

There should be a label on the reverse of the scope that has the model number on it.
Also when the scope is connected to the PicoScope Automotive software, by going to Help then About it will give the scope's model and serial number which may be useful if the label is illegible or missing.
