Re: Canbus Only

Yes, canbus decoding is available on all scopes through the software, just make sure that the bandwidth and sampling rate of the scope are sufficient for the bit rate of the signal.

Re: SPI decode MOSI and MOSO at the same time

We already have a feature request in to allow all decoded data to be included in a single table, even across protocols, so I will add your name to this.

Re: Differential Manchester encoding

Often the decoders will work on a single leg of a differential signal subject to noise. If noise prevents this in your setup then you can use two channels and create a Math Channel (A-B) and use that for decoding.

Re: Changing from PS4000 to PS5000a

There will potentially be some changes, however it would be better to discuss these via support@picotech.com

Send an email explaining which functions you are using from the 4000.dll and the team will be able to advise on potential differences when transferring to the 5000a.dll

Re: Bit Resolution Enhancement not persistent

Is it still operating in 12bit even though the display is on 8bit, if so this may be linked to the selected state value for the drop down menu.

Re: Channel overrange on SW version 6.13.7.707

Do you get the same overrange indication at 1s/div, where the trace will still be streaming ?

If you leave it running at 5000s/div does the trace become reasonable after a few minutes ?

Re: Picolog ADC-11

The device and adapter will only work on 32bit O/S's but has not been tested with Windows 10 32bit, so probably not.

Re: EXT Trigger for Channel A Swap

If you have streaming working with a trigger on Channel A, then it would just be necessary to change the Channel in the trigger setup.

Have you been able to get streaming working without the use of a trigger ?

Re: USB TC-08 in python

You are aware that the TC08 only has one high resolution ADC chip and that the inputs are multiplexed. It takes 100msecs to do a single conversion, and therefore 900msecs to perform a conversion for each channel and the Cold Junction.

Re: set x-axis 0 point

Can you set a trigger for your event ?
The x-axis 0 point will always be at the trigger point, or the first sample if you are not using triggers.

They are stored in preferences.xml located in the AppData folder

Code: Select all

C:\Users\{user login name}\AppData\Local\Pico Technology\64358d19-ef91-48bb-9ae0-3b4689d44d99
and are not part of the settings or data files.
