CAN decoding H or L only?

Hey guys! I'm wondering if its possible to decode CAN data using one channel only? I know the benefits of seeing both lines but I'm not fault-finding here and only interested in decoding the data, and my 3205 has a busted input channel. Since CAN H/L are just (if working properly) an inverse of each...

Re: Input protection.

I ordered a few CALOGIC SST5912 circuits (the first buffer amplifier).
They are hard to find so if anyone else need these - let me know... $3/piece.
I shouldn't be the only one with a busted frontend? :) After all picoscopes only allow 20V input...

Re: Input protection.

Also the unit is a bit off, with inputs shorted it should read 0v but it isn't... In Picoscope <6 there was a checkbox to null the offset, but not in Picoscope 6. I have two picoscopes and they are both a bit offset so I guess it's a fairly common problem, and Picotech doesn't seem to want to implem...

Re: Input protection.

Well, the unit is fairly old by now, I don't think it'd be worth the cost...
I'm an electronics engineer so there should be no problem repairing it myself,
however since I don't have the schematics it could take some time to find the fault - which is why I asked here :)

Input protection.

I kind of busted the A-channel input on my picoscope 3205, my inductive pickup (for ignition testing) was picking up a bit too much. :) I don't have schematics for the unit unfortunately, but perhaps someone here know some common fault of an overload? http://rfelektronik.se/temp/div/Dsc_1006.jpg Wou...

Yeah, they are great working so close to the users!
Excellent crew!

Re: Probe zero callibartion

Don't get me wrong, I do love v.6 - but missing _basic features_ like probe nulling makes me really confused... How can you NOT implement such a feature (without having to rescale axis or ranges showing strange values)?? I have two picoscopes and they both need probe nulling before use... I mean - h...

Re: How to record the time of a signal?

This is a feature I as well would like to see.
I'm using a picoscope for a magnetometer to detect solar flares and other events in the Earths magnetic field,
during a chart recording this would be most useful.

Re: How do you add an offset to correct a probe's zero input

Oh, thanks for the info.
But I really really want the RS232/UART and SPI decoding :))

Re: How do you add an offset to correct a probe's zero input

Would that be under Edit/New Probe?
Running 6.5.42 and the program crash whenever I click those...
Just sent a bugreport.

Why not add a simple button in the toolbar?
