Re: Display problem?

You should also check probe compensation, probably attach a picture of what the waveform looks like for the square wave output on the front panel. Probably not the case though as you would most likely see the same thing on both scaling levels, the point being is that you should always check probe co...

Re: Issue with num of samples

For whatever reason, the lowpass filtering seems to activate itself in this situation. For the channel you're using, presumably 'A', go into the Channel Options by clicking on the A button and about half-way down you'll see the Lowpass Filtering section, it'll probably be active, uncheck it. You can...

Re: long time storage

Be aware of the file format you save to and the sampling rate. Image files aren't a problem, but if you want the actual data in .csv, .txt, .mat formats the files will get huge over a large time base with high sample rates. .csv, .txt can take forever to save while the matlab (.mat) save time is far...

Re: File size problems

I did find another post here... Re: PicoScope 6.11.10.1608 generating corrupt .mat files Post by Hitesh » Tue Feb 23, 2016 4:44 pm ...where the user Labrat had the same error that I am getting and Hitesh indicated that they are aware of an issue relating to the export of data to .mat format. It does...

File size problems

I am saving very large waveform capture files using a 6000 series PicoScope with the .mat (MATLAB) extension. Somewhere at ~350 MB and above the saved files will not load into MATLAB and produces an error stating the files may be corrupt. I'm using as high as possible sampling rates to retain wavefo...

Re: 'Save as' path

I did discover an old post and found a 'work around' but it still isn't fully satisfying. I've been saving files with a Matlab format file extension, the comment in the old post mentioned saving files with the '.psdata' format extension in order to change the path, that works. It's still a 'default'...

'Save as' path

Hello, new user here! I'm saving a lot of waveforms that I've captured to various folders and most times there will be numerous files in the same folder. When I use 'Save as', PicoScope6 defaults to the same path and location that I'm not currently using. I'm guessing that it defaults to the very fi...
