Good Day, while I cannot comment on the picoscope model 2208B, I can confirm that an arbitrary PWM signal can be generated using the PicoScope - PC Oscilloscope software version 6.14.23.5207 and a PicoScope Model 3203D MSO. Good Day confused.com, my guess is that you want to learn more about the typical characteristics of capacitor charging/discharging, and the picoscope's AWG and oscilloscope are excellent tools for studying these basics. Ciao Francesco, The noise you are seeing is not a fault of your picoscope device. Your breadboard circuit shows some long wiring, which forms large loops and the so-called "hum" you are seeing on your picoscope are voltages induced by the 50 Hz power line present in your area.
