High frequency streaming

Hi there, I am using the picoscope 6407. When I am using the picoscope software I can watch the waveform and spectrum up to 1.25GS/s. However, when I am using the api to get the data in streaming mode, I am limited (probably by the usb transfer and disk speed) at around 10MS/s. So here is my questio...

Re: Streaming mode at high sampling rate

Thank you for your answers, I was apparently clearly overoptimistic about the performances of the pico 6407.
I will try to see if the block mode would be a suitable alternative for what I am trying to achieve.

Streaming mode at high sampling rate

Hello, For my experiment, I am using a picoscope 6407 to capture electromagnetic emanations. I need to capture the data in real time during long periods of time, so I am using the streaming mode of the picoscope. I am encountering several problems in the process. First of them is the API itself does...

Re: Can't use any python librairy

Hi, Thank you for your answer. According to the programmer's guide, the voltage range should be +- 100mV, and it should be set to DC, which is what I think I am doing in the code I am testing. For picosdk-python-wrappers I try to run the code provided in examples (block.py): https://pastebin.com/Pt0...

Can't use any python librairy

Hi, I am a happy (new) user of a picoscope 6407. I have installed the firmware on linux and it works great with the picoscope software. However, when I use a python lib, it crashes at the initialization step. I tried with pico-python (installed from a pip repository) and I get a PICO_COUPLING_NOT_SU...
