FRA for 5442D - blank plots?

I was able, with the help of PicoScope tech folks, to download an SDK supporting the 5442D and recompile the FRA 4 PicoScope application. I was even able to get some nice plots out of it. However, I stupidly then went and tried to build a production version, and since then, the original debug versio...

Re: Function generator drops off a lot as frequency goes over 1MHz

Gerry, I'm not disputing that - scopes have worked that way for a long time. What surprised me, and led me to abandon my initial idea, was that the "10x" , applied in the case where the probe was used to bring the output of the function generator out to the circuit, was that the behavior was somethi...

FRA for 5442D?

The FRA application would be very useful; it apparently supports the 5444A, but I don't know what makes the 5442D different enough for it to complain that no compatible scope was found? I know I could download the whole project and build it, but was hoping somebody might "just know" the answer?

Re: Function generator drops off a lot as frequency goes over 1MHz

Gerry, thanks for pointing this out. I retried the test with a straight BNC cable between "Gen" and "A" and the function generator behaves as expected (100mV in = 100mV out across 1MHz - 5MHz). OTOH, if I do what I did yesterday, and naively use the included probes, both set to "1x" to do the same, ...

Function generator drops off a lot as frequency goes over 1MHz

Picoscope 5442D It appears that the ADC does not work as expected as the frequency climbs. Specifically, using an external calibrated scope, 1V amplitude sine wave gives: @1MHz: 1.86V @2Mhz: 1.56V @3MHz: 1.36V @4MHz: 1.38V @5MHz: 1.12V Since our work is focused in this range, it's a bit frustrating ...
