latest P6 software??

I get a prompt opening Pico inviting me to download latest software 6.14.62, but clicking on download takes me to a 404 page and on the Pico download site the latest available is 6.14.61.
Any advice on whether there is an upgrade /where the upgrade is accessible??
thanks

Voltage input limits

Hi there, can someone please clarify for me the voltage input protection limit on 2200 series without attenuation. other users keep telling me that max safe input is +/- 20V because this seems to be the indication of the apparent 'warning' marked on the scope box. However, the specs seem to say over...

Perfect!
Thanks Martyn, I couldn't figure that out. It wasn't explained in the Manual.
It's great to discover the simple secrets ... more of them in the Pico than an Egyptian crypt

Re: Picoscope 2204A Overvoltage

Sorry about the late addition to these posts, but I thought the 2200 series scopes had overvoltage protection to +/- 100v??? Says so on the spec sheet i think. Maybe i'm missing something

Re: Phase rulers at 0-720deg - Is it possible?

Ok thanks Gerry, interestinly you can wrap the phases and use the two horizontal timebase rulers to mark a 180 and 360 point beyond the 360deg partitions marked by the phase rulers. But, I'm a bit confused as to what use can be made of the Custom setting on the phase rulers? Entering a value does no...

Phase rulers at 0-720deg - Is it possible?

Hi there, on my 2205A, trying to set up my phase rules to measure and divide 720deg of rotation. The default is to 360 deg. Using the Custom setting does not seem to work - simply adds the figure "720" to each of the degree divisions as in - 0 720,90 720,180 720 ,240 720,360 720?? Can I set up to me...

Re: Measurement between cursors on Voltage scale?

thanks for confirming Benno.
I was trying to use an average between highest and lowest Secondary Ignition firing lines to document and demonstrate the effect of a new plugs. ie be recording a RMS across the buffer range.
Pity I can't do that. I like to document and prove the positive effect.

Measurement between cursors on Voltage scale?

Hi there, I'm trying to the RMS measuring functions "Between cursors" on the Voltage axis, but it does not seem to work. I'm setting two cursor positions on the waveform, then setting the an RMS (True or AC) to work out the RMS between cursons, but it does not return a result. Does the "Between Curs...

Re: Pico 2200-Series USB streaming constraints

So Martyn Just following on from your very instructive comments. As I understand it then, the 2205a in streaming mode is limited to 1MS/s or less and can capture 100MS max. I'm tyring to understand better how the scope spits out the display within its constraints and how I can take it to the limits ...

Re: Pico 2200-Series USB streaming constraints

Martyn I'm starting to understand the relationship between the buffer and the limits on sample rate. Sorry I'm so slow, and appreciate your patience. I take it the scope dials down the sample rate to spread samples across the timebase and number of screens set. Say, for example, the time base (obvio...

Re: Pico 2200-Series USB streaming constraints

Is this IMS/s limit only relevant to Streaming Mode for the 2205A? I still am struggling to understand how this Scope is capable of 200MS/s but nothing like that rate can be achieved in the ms/div range?? Best achieved is in the KS/s range?? Just my ignorance, I'm sure ... but trying to get the most...

Right. That's making sense, being . not a , country .... I will do a little investigation ;-).,

Update: changed setting the "Metric" and seemed to fix the issue.

Re: Reference Waveform Delay

Ok that's tricky. So you need to use a whole number first, then adjust for the decimal.
Not sure why. But it works. Scope Magic!!

Re: Reference Waveform Delay

Hi Gerry I hope my attachment works. This issue is that I have recorded a Prim Ig plus a Crk Sig on 2 channel scope. Need to add a reference Cam signal and to align this signal correctly it needs to move 25.52ms to the right, so that the falling edge of the Cam signal is located in the middle of the...
