Re: default directory for file saving

Thank you for your reply. Do I need to change the 2nd line of your code everytime manually? Is there a way to automatically use my most recently save directory, instead of a fix directory name specified in the preferences.xml? The older version picoscope 6 did just that.

Thank you!

Re: default directory for file saving

I have beta software. Is there a way to change to my last saved directory or specify a directory somewhere. Modify the preference file does not always work.

default directory for file saving

Hi, I could not make picoscope to change default saving directory. Everytime, it uses a specific directory name instead of the one I choose to save last time. In the past, it was fine. Is there a way to change the default saving directory? My picoscope 6 version is 6.7.13.3. Thank you!

Re: Help - Note missing after upgrade to 6.7.13.0

Ok, after I play around, I was able to bring it back. You will need to enter something to bring it back. I have to delete some comments to bring it to one line only. Another question, after upgrade, it now shows xxx mHz between two time points. In the past, it shows RPM instead. While I could conver...

Help - Note missing after upgrade to 6.7.13.0

After I upgraded to the latest Beta, I found that Note (comments) on trace capature by version 6.7.2 will not show up on this new version Picoscope software. Is there any trick to bring it back. If not, this is really bad. I wrote note here for all my test conditions here including channel names. Th...

Re: Picoscope .mat file import into matlab

I installed 6.6.28 and converted it into .mat file. I still have the same errors when .mat file is opened in Matlab.

.pdata file attached in case you need to check. Could not attach a matlab file here.

Re: Please bring me back to old ways!!!!!

Thank you very much for your help! After I tried your 2nd trick - pull the lower edge of the trace window up slightly, all characters show up in one line now! Interestingly, when I pull it down slightly, it still shows all of them in one line.

Re: Please bring me back to old ways!!!!!

1) You are right, you can change to 100ms in the option to see pre-trigger preview. Looks like 100ms/div is the lowest you can go. 2) I am attaching a image file to illustrate previous version vs. latest version (beta) 6.7.2.1 Since I could not go back to previous version of software, I can not post...

Please bring me back to old ways!!!!!

After I upgraded the software, I have encountered two annoying problems. I really regret to upgrade! 1) If you sampling at 100ms/div with Single Trigger, you can not view pretrigger signals anymore (it is blank). I relied on this display to tell me if I am getting any signals. Now, I have to change ...

Save data for zoomed portion only

After you capture the data, is there a way to save a portion of the data (e.g., the zoomed portion of the data)? This will be a very useful feature. I see this feature from Yokogawa scope software.

N o Filtering for Channel C and D

After I open a picoscope data file from 4424, I could do low pass filtering to channel A and B. However, there is no icon to activate filtering for Channel C or D. Is this a software bug?

VB/VBA Example Code to Read .psdata File Into Excel

Hi, is there an example code to read .psdata file into Excel directly? I have four channels of data in the .psdata file, would like to read this file and process it directly without convert it into .csv file.

Thank you very much!
