Re: Readout raw A/D count

You can covert the voltage value back to adc using a math channel.
The function for doing this conversion is:

ADC = MaxADC * ChannelVoltage / VoltageRangeMax

eg for the 4424A on the 5V range for Channel A

ADC = 32767 * A / 5

Hi all, please note that these keyboard shortcuts are for PicoScope 6 only. They are not usable in PicoScope 7.

Re: Disregarded fixes for bugs in the Python wrapper

For these fixes we have implemented them in an upcoming update to the python wrappers repo in a different way for the default resolution so we will be using our implementation rather than taking the pull request.

Re: Device connect problem to labview program

Hi What example are you trying to run? The 5244D uses the ps5000a driver and the associated examples. Are you able to share the exact error message being displayed? Have you downloaded the 32 bit PicoSDK to match your 32 bit version of LabVIEW? Have you got any instances of PicoScope 7 open while tr...

Re: library missing in matlab, SDK folder.

Hi

The PicoSDK can be downloaded from our website www.picotech.com/downloads which contains the drivers and does the setup to connect the scope from 3rd party software.

You will also need the wrappers from here https://github.com/picotech/picosdk-c-wrappers-binaries to use the scope in MATLAB

Hi

Are you using the example from the addon without any changes or have you made any changes to the code?

Re: Matlab API stopping

Hi

Are you able to give any more specifics about what you're seeing, any error codes returned during the running of the code?
Are you using one of the examples from the MATLAB addons?

Re: Undesirable offset when using pico4444 in streaming mode

Are you able to give more details about exactly what the singla being inputted is in terms of voltage levels as it looks like the effect is due to the DC blocking capacitor charging up to remove the DC component of the signal. You can get around this effect but running a dummy capture to do the char...

Re: Least Expensive model for my needs

Hi Mark For working on most automotive applications we recommend our automotive scopes which have a higher input range and overvoltage protection for working with engine bay voltage levels safely and also a good noise floor and vertical resolution. https://www.picoauto.com/products/automotive-oscill...

Are you able to try a different USB cable, whether its one of the blue Pico ones or a 3rd party one?
Are you able to try uninstalling and reinstalling PicoScope 7?

Re: confusion over setting delay with simple trigger

Hi In the MATLAB examples, when a function doesn't have the ps5000a prefix, it means that it is a simplified function that wraps the API function with some settings using set values. You can use the delay setting the delay property of the triggerGroupObject in the same way that the autoTriggerMs val...

Re: Undesirable offset when using pico4444 in streaming mode

Hi Luis

Are you able to resend the picture and code as they haven't seemed to attached to the post correctly?

Does this occur in PicoScope 7 as well or just when using the scope in MATLAB?
