Importing custom probes from 6 to 7

I recently upgraded to Picoscope 7 and no problems so far (I like the new interface) except I want to import custom probes I made in Picoscope 6 to Picoscope 7.
I have searched the forum but haven't found anything (although apologies if it is there and I've missed it!)

Best regards
Ian

Re: Buffer for the AWG

Thanks Gerry. Reassured that my 2206B is behaving normally. As the bandwidth for the measuring input is quoted as 50MHz I would have expected very little of the roll-off to be contributed by that. I think the AWG is a great feature. Most of the time I can do all my measurements with just the Picosco...

Buffer for the AWG

I have a 2206B and for some applications the 600R output impedance of the AWG can be a bit limiting. I understand that you may have made the design decision in order to limit the current drawn from the host computer USB port. I would have probably done the same. So I am making myself a buffer amplif...

Re: Picoscope 2204 On Android Tablet

I would also use Picoscope on an Android tablet if it were available, particularly if the power source ensured mains isolation by means of a battery pack . A mains powered (wall socket) charger would not guarantee isolation from common mode switching artifacts that the SMPS in such chargers produce....

Re: Frequency Response Analyzer with Bode Plots

Dear Aaron Sorry for the delay in replying, combination of work, holiday and illness! 1. Annotation I would suggest all the data in the basic setup pane, and any advanced settings can go in as free text along with the description of the measurement. It might be wise to limit the size of the text (20...

Private message issue

Dear Admins As I have not sent many posts I don't have sufficient privileges to send PMs. Is it possible to change this? I would find it useful to be able to PM user: hexamer about his FRA4 software. I would normally ask this sort of admin question via PM, but there is a chicken & egg problem with t...

Re: Frequency Response Analyzer with Bode Plots

Dear Aaron I've now been using your software for a while and once again many thanks for such a useful tool. Based on this use I have some suggestions for future upgrades should you choose to undertake them. Please don't take these suggestions as criticism, if you never do any more work on it I will ...

Re: Frequency Response Analyzer with Bode Plots

Dear Aaron Hexamer I have now downloaded and installed FRA4 (Windows 10 Pro) and it's excellent! Many thanks for creating it, it's just what I needed. I work mostly with amplifiers, acoustics and power supplies and having such an easy way to examine amplitude, phase and gain/phase margin is most hel...

Re: Frequency Response Analyzer with Bode Plots

Dear Hexamer I was very pleased to find your FRA4 app and was looking forward to trying it out. It's exactly what I need for my projects. I have a 2206B scope. When I tried to download it from your site Norton Security flagged it as malicious and cancelled the download :-( I know from previous exper...

User interface AWG suggestion

I'm using a 2206B scope and I'm very pleased with it! I would prefer the AWG interface to be available as a toolbar option along top or side rather than a dialog covering part of the waveform display area. That's because I typically make lots of adjustments to the AWG output while observing the same...

Re: Picoscope probes

I've just bought a 2206B which came with P6060 probes. This thread answers my identical question. The website still quotes M1007 as the part number. https://www.picotech.com/accessories/passive-oscilloscope-probes Are there any other probes on that page with obsolete numbers? Looks like the page nee...
