We need as high dynamic range as we can get. We're really struggling seeing a signal over the noise at 8bit, so 12 bit would help and 16 bit would make life easier. The speed is less important. Thanks for the reply Richard. You confirmed what I suspected (and feared!). Is there a picoscope capable of 16 bit resolution on a real time acquisition? If so how fast do they go?

9xxx series for single acquisition?

Hi, I'm worried I've got the wrong scope. I have a 9201 because I need 16 bit dynamic range and fairly high bandwidth (1 GHz would do). Is it possible to get a single shot trace with these specifications? As far as I can tell the 9201 only takes one data point per trigger and so I'd have to be able ...
