When installing PicoScope 6 there are several very long delays where nothing is apparently happening but what's actually happening is the installer mindlessly banging away in the background, attempting to connect to CRL.VERISIGN.NET. Thanks - that's useful to know. I assume that like XP, Vista needs to be registered online before use. Did you find any weirdness with this or were you simply allowed to register another installation? I may have a need to make another XP installation (regrettable, I know :roll: ) and would much rath...

Absolutely - all three are must haves!
UART, SPI and I2C decoding must surely be more useful to us electronics folk than CAN?
(so what are we; car mechanics?? oivey... :) )

I have tried running the scope with nothing connected to it (no probes only the USB cable to power it) and go to the highest resoltion and the noise is still there. But leaving the input open circuit practically guarantees that noise will be picked up! :shock: What happens if you have the probes co...

Apologies; I should have made it clearer that the pickup I experienced was entirely due to external cables/circuitry, and not the Picoscope itself.
