I am working with TH-03 on desktop ,but now I want to use USB to serial port to connect logger to my new laptop. Is it ok or it will damage my laptop. please let me know?

I am using TH-03 for temperature measurement from skin of forearm. Graph display disturbed after 100 readings. while spread sheet updating continuously. Auto scaling button we want as default.

Is it possible to get real time running graph with software provided for TH-03 ? Please guide me.
