Re: Input Range

I would highly appreciate if you could add ranges for asymmetric signals.

E.g.

-1 to 9V
0 to 10V
-1 to 19V
0 to 20V

Many thanks

Re: Waveform with nothing attached to 2205

Hi Ziko Do I understand it correctly: If I use the 2205 with a Notebook (with battery as power-source) there is still a switch mode power supply involved (?) From the "irregularity" of these spikes I had assumed it is pure "Noise". I just measured the power supply outlet to the Notebook - a perfectl...

Re: Single SW Installation for Mutliple Pico Products?

Thanks for the advice, Erik. Sorry, I am still not clear about this issue. Is it possible to have on one PC the latest Picoscope 6 AND the Picoscope 5 "co-exist", i.e. both installed. One used when I use Dr. Daq and one used when I use the 2205 ? Or do I have to fall back on both hardware devices to...

Re: Single SW Installation for Mutliple Pico Products?

When you install PicoScope6 in the device selection screen. Select your main device in the dropdown list. Tick the checkbox "Install for other devices" Thanks, Erik. Maybe I'm getting a bad eyesight already, but I feel that Dr Daq for example was not on the choice-list? Do I have to go back to V5 f...

6.3.26 has time base right?

If I send a 1 kHz sine wave on my 2205 from the wave generator to Chan A or B, I measure there a 2.5 kHz Signal.

Tried time measurement with our calibrator, but can't get right timing results?

Re: Waveform with nothing attached to 2205

Hi there.

I have the same with my brandnew 2205.

In addition:
Just measured a calibration curve (square wave from our 16bit precision Calibrator) of 10V and it has all along little spikes of around 180 mV.
Changed the leads, but issue stays the same. Will check further ....

Re: Netbook

I post the reply myself 8) Have installed the Software and used the 2205 with the Azus Netbook 1101HA. Everything seems to work fine for the first day. I have to admit, I do run Picoscope alone (don't run multiple softwares at the same time) and I set the Priority for Picoscope.exe in the Taskmanage...

Single SW Installation for Mutliple Pico Products?

We do have a DrDaq, which we bought for educational purposes some time ago. Recently we bought a 2205 and we still plan to add a "higher end" Oscillosope to our equipment. If we install Picoscope 6, do we need to install it for each equipment separately (e.g. once for DrDaq, once for the 2205 and la...

Netbook

Can anybody feed back an experience running PicoScope 6 on a Netbook, e.g. an Asus Eee 1101HA (Z520 Processor at 1.3 GHz, 2 GB Ram, 3x USB2 Port etc) ? Looking at the minimum specs requirement, it should work. I just ordered a 2205 and wonder whether I can travel for regional service work with the N...
