Picoscope 7 suggestions

I originally made these suggestions at the beginning of the PicoScope 7 Early Access. I downloaded the stable version today and here are my suggestions. Most of these suggestions have not changed from the start of the early access program. It is really disappointing that PicoScope makes such amazing...

PSKEYS file

Is there a complete list of all .pskeys (keyboard shorts cuts) names?

I am building a macro keyboard to operate the scope and this would be very very helpful.

Thank you.

Re: PicoScope 7 T&M Early Access program - Introduction

I just installed the new PicoScope 7.096.11034 for windows. I haven't used version 7 since it first came out. Here are my suggestions so far (about 20 minutes of use): 1. On installation offer the ability to import scope setting from existing installations of PicoScope 6 2. Default the probes to 10X...

Channel Enable/Clear keyboard short cut does not restore range

If I assign Channel A Enable to ALT-1 and Channel A Clear to ALT-2. With the voltage range set to 20. When I press ALT-2 Trace A goes away but when I press ALT-2 Trace A comes back on but at Auto voltage rather than 20V. How can I have the Enable just turn the trace on without changing it's Voltage ...

Missing Feature - Trace Labels

One feature that has been missing from Picoscope 6 is the ability to label analog traces. I am very surprised that it was not included in Picoscope 7. This is a glaring absence. Most stand alone scopes have this capability. When ever I do a scope capture I need to bring it into photoshop or paint to...

Re: Image capturing bugs

I am also seeing this. I originally reported this October 28th, 2019. I haven't seen any comments or resolutions from Pico on this. Just to confirm, I set the windows scaling factor to 100% (down from 150%) and the Copy Entire Window as Image works just fine. This feature needs to be modified to und...

Serial Decoder Suggestion

I am currently debugging one I2C connection on channels A & B and a different I2C connection on channels C & D. I have created 2 I2C serial decoders. This gives me 2 tabs, one for each decoder. It would be very convenient if when you create the decoder you could specify the trigger channel and trigg...

Picoscope Feature Request

I don't know if this is the correct place for this. If not, please forgive me. I have been a PicoScope user for 5 or six years. With this experience I have a few software feature/improvement requests. The PicoScope is the best bang for the buck out there in a USB oscilloscopes. The hardware is very ...

Re: How do I Label Signals?

I would also like to add my support for this feature. Being able to label the analog channels should be in the software. I realize that prioritizing the software development is important and the software is improving nicely. However, not being able to label the channels is, in my opinion, a major ga...

Bump Bump Bump

I am using labels of more than 3 characters for the Logic Analyzer and an adjustable left margin would be greatly appreciated.

Serial Decoding Redux

I would like to add my vote to bringing back the serial decode frame trigger (for both start of frame and end of frame). This would allow the setting or a byte or series of bytes to start and stop the trigger for serial decode. As an expansion of the above idea, have real time decoding enabled until...

Yet Another Serial Decoding Question

Two questions here actually. I am decoding RS-232 communications. Currently to decode transmit and receive you have to create two decodes, one for the transmit channel and one for the receive channel. This creates 2 decode windows. Is there any way to have both the transmit and receive appear in the...
