I want to be able to monitor the DCC signal produced by my Hornby Elite DCC controller when it is running in conjunction with a software program on my PC. The Elite controller is in Comms with the PC by USB. I am acutely aware of the Pico warnings about parallel grounds when a 2408 is also attached ...

I have a 2408B and can record and by way of a link file decode basic 7 bit decoder packets but not extended bit packets used by most model railway decoders these days. I want to compare channel A with channels B and C which should be simultaneous in phase else I am unable to prove what I set out to do.
Is a 2408B four channel device able to show simulataneousness (if thats a word) of these channels.

I'm a newbie to PicoTech and scoping in general.
My interest is in serial decoding in particular DCC for model railways and I hope to be able to contribute articles demonstrating my progress in this field to the site.
