I figured out I was incorrectly calculating the pulses per second, so that solves the first issue.
The second was resolved when I moved the picolog file from the usb drive I'd opened it from and moved it to my hard drive.

Resolution and Image Blur
I've got a 2204A looking at an incremental encoder signal and a 24 VDC digital signal. The computer that runs our machine keeps shutting down with an error that indicates it "thinks" the material has suddenly stopped. It's possible this is a software bug from the manufacturer, but to confirm it's no...

PicoLog Setup
Hi, I'm using PicoLog for the first time, and I cannot get the signal to look the way it does in the scope. I'm looking at an incremental encoder signal. On the PicoScope, the signal is a nice square wave, as I would expect. When I switch to PicoLog, it looks like noisy spikes. I can't figure out wh...

Two Signals - Two Grounds
I need to see the time relationship between two signals that are on different ground potentials. My understanding is that the 2204A does not have isolated grounds between the channels. I have a second 2204A that I could run through PicoLog. Would that give me the isolation I'm seeking, or would the ...

Re: Help Choosing the Correct Scope
Also, I see the scope is only rated to +/- 20 VDC.
Am I correct to assume that with a x10 probe, the scope can take +/- 200 VDC?

Help Choosing the Correct Scope
Hi! I'm a Manufacturing Engineer for a large company. Occasionally, I'll need to look for signal noise, but primarily I'll be using the scope to measure time by watching high-speed sensors turning on and off with respect to a "fire" signal from a solid-state output. For most applications, I don't th...
