thanks for the update... I am already using the mentioned release. so as I contacted tech support before and I was offered a replacement unit. as support process did not go thru any troubleshooting steps I was hesitant to accept the offer.

in such case do you think a replacement is a good offering?

it is an HP PC running Vista, 3 GB RAM, Dual core Intel.

I would like to clarify one thing here: it is not slowing down the PC but rather picoscope itself renders unresponsive

Low Frequency

Hello,

used Scope: 2204
used SW: PicoScope r6.2.13

when measuring signals with low frequencies, e.g. 1 Hz or less, I find myself in a need to use longer "time base" values, e.g. 500 ms/div.

when doing so, the software becomes extremely slow and in some cases unresponsive.

please advise.
