Re: Print Vector graphic to PDF issue

It seems related to the horizontal zoom setting when printed. I zoomed to x100 before it would print waveform as a line vector, then decreasing the zoom print was line vector until x10 then printed waveform line is back to filled object. It is also be related to the number of samples if i change to ...

Re: Print Vector graphic to PDF issue

Its weird, this morning I print to pdf & the waveform is now a line vector (Curve).
If I find a correlation will post...

Print Vector graphic to PDF issue

Using PicoScope 6.14.44.5870, OS Win7P x64 I can print vector graphics (background, grid, rulers, waveform, text) to PDF with acrobat 5 print driver. I load PDF into CorelDraw X4 for annotating, prep for document insertion etc... Looks really good & clear. My issue is with the waveform vector object...

Re: Save as pdf PW protected

After getting some sleep & rest from testing, I have re-looked at the files I was using:
It would seem the pdf files I could import to CDR were printed from Pico & the ones I could not import were “saved as pdf” (Sorry for the confusion)

Save as pdf PW protected

After capturing 15 hours of 1 second serial packets I Have been saving some waveform buffers to pdf & import to corel draw for overlaying, comparison & prep for reports. Now after doing a few pdf saves the pdf is now password protected ?? & cannot import, Restarted PS but same. Checked the pdf secur...

Re: Inconsistent trigger on RS422

Was onsite again today where the scope is setup. PS Ver. 6.8.8.16. Setting the pre-trigger to > 20% (was 1% & 10%) seems to fix the problem, trigger is stable at the first rise, I can capture both complete waveforms now with decoded 422 data. If only I could real time stamp the start of each decoded...

Inconsistent trigger on RS422

Picoscope 3224, 100ks/s, 'PicoScope6_r6_7_40' ? , Capturing 2 channels of RS422 data TX/RX, 1200,o,8,1 . 11 bytes ~106ms each channel 160ms from start of TX to end of TX, Its on a 1s cycle so plenty of idle time between polls. With 20ms/div it triggers reliably on the first rising edge of data, But ...

Re: Anomaly in Edge trigger

Thanks ziko for the reply, You might be right, there is probably enough parasitic capacitance in the isolating transformer & my setup to affect the 3224. The logic circuit actually is not earthed as I stated, it is powered from a topward dc bench supply & Vicor DC-DC converters so has double isolati...

Anomaly in Edge trigger

I am using Picoscope 6.3.55.0 & 3224 hardware to capture turnoff waveforms, using both simple edge & advanced edge with hysterisis to trigger off the digital control signal rising edge of ch1, I also get triggers when the other channel 2 rising edge coincides (within nom. 300uS window) with the digi...

Delete selected waveforms from buffer

Picoscope 6, When I have captured say 15 waveforms in the buffer, due to triggering anomalies & false triggers (eg: big airconditioner switching) I have some waveforms of the buffer that I don't want, I can't find a delete button in the buffer navigator. Is this just an oversight of a useful feature...

Advanced Triggering on signal to 0V amplitude

Scope = 3224 SW = 6.3.55.0 Ch1 Volts, Ch2 Amps(across 1R) We have a 110V AC 50hz signal that is giving us an issue on turn-off occasionally (during peak current) I am capturing turn-off waveform events successfully but can only do it in Single trigger mode, so have to set trigger active (go), turn-o...

EL-005 & 3G/NextG modem

We have a requirement to log temperature in a remote area of north QLD Australia, the only affordable comms medium is 3G/NextG phone network. (no GSM) WE intend to use a Maxon Unimax 3G router (Modem) & the Maxwan service (VPN WAN) http://www.maxon.com.au I have tried to find a technical datasheet o...
