Re: Synchronization error among channels

Hi Gerry, I intend to use 2 channels to collect signals from 2 transducers. One is a transmitter and the other one is a receiver. I want to calculate the time difference between these two channels in order to calculate the signal traveling distance. Because the traveling distance is very short, I wo...

Synchronization error among channels

Hi All,

Where can I find the Synchronization error among channels? I am using 5000 series with 4 channels. All channels triggered by channel A.

Tks a lot.

Re: Is there analog anti-aliasing filter in Picoscope 5000 s

Hi Hitesh,

Following the previous question, is the optional 20 MHz filter an analog or digital one.

Thanks.

Re: Is there analog anti-aliasing filter in Picoscope 5000 s

Hi Hitesh,

Thanks. Furthermore, where and how can I enable the 20MHz filter. Please check my setting file. The highest signal we need is only 4Mhz. To reduce the noise floor, we are now using 125MS sampling rate. It is time consuming to save the data.

Thanks,
Layfolk.

Is there analog anti-aliasing filter in Picoscope 5000 serie

Hi All, I want to check with you guys whether there is a analog anti-aliasing filter inside Picoscope 5000 series. If there is, what is the parameters. Using different sampling rate 125MS, 62.5MS, 31.25MS, and 15.625MS to look at 4MHz received signal, I can see the noise floor increase when I reduce...

Re: Anyone who can tell me how Rise Time affect signal sampl

If you can post some psdata files showing what you are doing we will be able to replicate your settings here. In the previous setting, I take 12bits hard resolution, and 14bits enhancement resolution. Now, I remove the enhancement resolution, that's 14bits hard reslution and 14bits enhancement reso...

Re: Anyone who can tell me how Rise Time affect signal sampl

Hi Gerry, Thanks a lot for your detail reply. I was asking the previous question, because I faced some problem with Picoscope. Currently we are using Picoscope 5444B. We use its all 4 channel to send and collect signal. The current setting are: Div 100us, 500mV, 12bits hard resolution and 14bits enh...

Anyone who can tell me how Rise Time affect signal sampling

Hi everyone, Is there anyone who can tell me the effect of Rise Time on the acquired signal. I noticed that the Rise Time is different among Picoscope product. Would it happen that the bandwidth matches the requirement but the rise time need extra performance? And what does "Calculated 10% to 90%" m...
