Re: Can't measure on higher bit rates.

I studied your explanation. https://www.picotech.com/library/oscilloscopes/resolution-enhancement I thought my equipment it was possible to measure at 12 bit. But if I understand correct, No it's not. I bought an 8 bit scope (2206A) and in some situations I can use an smart oversampling technic to s...

Re: Can't measure on higher bit rates.

I make an screenshot movie. I hope this 'll help te explain. You see if I use 8 Bit ; everything works as expected. But if I change to an higher Bit range (here in this example 12 Bit) the signal becomes weaker when I change time/div as you see easily. IHO there is something wrong. Another example: ...

Can't measure on higher bit rates.

I can't measure on higher bit rates. Every value I use above 8 bit, the signals becomes weaker. The trouble starts at frequencies above circa 10 kHz. Above 100kHz the line is nearly flat. Measure random fast signal

I use for years an CTR scope for audio measurements. Last year I switched to an Pico Scope, and that's fine. Always measured with continuous signals and tone generator. Now I do other experiment with Geiger counter. Bought an high voltage unit with TTL output. Now I want to measure the output and se...

Re: High CPU

Thanks for your answer, I did do nothing special. Just an sinus signal from 2,5kHz on Channel A, Channel B off. Then click 'Auto setup' then click 'Trigger ‘Auto' . Then my CPU goes to up to very high levels Did some ‘experiments’ with different Mono versions. I found for myself an workflow for the ...

High CPU

I just started with PicoScope I bought this week. I bought an used Model No 3204. The software interface is clear and intuitive and for OSX, that's nice ! The problem I have is that the is extreem high CPU usage. I tried several changes in the preferences but nothing helps. CPU goes up to 300% and d...
