Re: PicoScope 2206b with LabVIEW

Thanks!

Just copied those 4 files over the ones in the SDK and it worked fine. Better than expected - since it's an upgrade to the PS2000a libraries I don't even need to change my Labview code!

Hopefully the website (and CD tat comes with it) will catch up soon...

Re: PicoScope 2206b with LabVIEW

Seconded! Since Picoscope have arbitrarily discontinued the excellent 2000a series I am having to modify software for myself and my clients to keep systems current. Neither the 2000 or 2000a labview drivers seem to work on my system (the 2000 simply gets "unable to open picoscope" while the 2000a do...

Thanks for the information - is this in the manual somewhere and I just missed it?

Re: Picoscope 3204B timebase confusion

Hi, martyn; sorry for the slow response. I kind of buried this problem in my mind but now it has resurfaced. I measured the sampling interval by generating a waveform with a 3rd party function generator and splitting the signal between the Picoscope and a 3rd party conventional oscilloscope. By noti...

Re: Finding the Serial number of a 3204B / .dll use

Thanks for that! Seems to be working now - although I eventually figured out the format for the parameters (with some help from a friend who programs in Matlab, which can tell what the parameters are), I was wiring the wrong values to it I think.

Finding the Serial number of a 3204B / .dll use

Hi;- I have been developing Labview applications incorporating Picoscopes for a while now. One thing I need to do is read in the unique serial number of the picoscope plugged into the machine. In the previous generation of picoscope oscilloscopes there were examples of this in Labview (the PS3000.dl...

Picoscope 3204B timebase confusion

Hi; I have been doing development with a Picoscope 3204B for a while now (writing Labview software for it). Up until recently I have only used timebase settings of 1, 2, 3 and 4. According to the manual these should give timebases of 0.004, 0.008, 0.016 and 0.032 microseconds per sample, with subseq...

PICO_INVALID_CHANNEL errors

Hi;- I have recently got Labview V11.0.1 (32 bit) and am writing an application for a Picoscope 3204B oscilloscope using the PS3000asdk_r10_4_1_1 SDK (which was the newest one a couple of weeks ago when I downloaded it) In all the examples and when trying to use the VIs included in the picoscope3000...

To update my story:- a project student in my group has managed to find working Labview VIs for the 2000 series cards - apparently there is an old article in these forums linking to a working copy. I havent been able to find the article myself because the search function searches the website, not the...

Labview wont open example VI s

Hi; i have been using Pisoscope 3000 series PC oscilloscopes for a few years now (using Labview) without major problems. I have recently bought a pair of 2203 scopes and am trying to do the same. The basic drivers and Picoscope program all install and work fine. however, I am unable to open any of t...
