Need scope to do Ethernet and USB eye diagram testing

My company needs to do high speed Internet and USB eye diagram testing. Can your Picoscopes do this type of testing? And which one do you recommend? Do you have any other info on eye diagram testing with Piocscopes? Thanks, Frank Fortino Equinox Payments Scottsdale, AZ ffortino@equinoxpayments.com C...

Use AWG of P6403 in a single line not continuous mode

Hi,

I'm using your P6403 (which is a really great product) and I want to use the built in AWG sig gen, in a one shot mode, not continuous. Is it possible to configure the AWG to output just 1 waveform with a long delay before the next one?
Thanks

Create a spectrum from saved waveform data

I'm using your P6403, and I just started using the spectrum analyzer feature. It really is a nice feature if you are tracking RFI sources. A real nice feature would be to create a spectrum from a saved waveform. Then you could also set your rulers and get a spectrum between the rulers; so you could ...

Re: P6403 changes sample interval in the later part of the

I just re-looked at the data. The problem seems to occur when my zoom is => 131K and I'm looking at data in the last 1/3 of the waveform ? My Collection time = 10 ms/div No of samples = 200 MS Sample interval = 800 ps Sample rate = 1.25 GS/s No. os samples = 125,000,000 I included the setup with no ...

P6403 changes sample interval in the later part of the data

I had a strange thing happen with the P6403 scope and Picoscope 6.4.64.0 SW. The sample interval started at 800 psec at the beginning of the waveform and then degraded to 8 nsecs towards the end of the waveform; in the same waveform ! Can I change my setup to eliminate this behavior, or is it a poss...

Add search for signal charcteristics in saved waveforms

A nice feature that would help in analyzing waveforms, is the ability to search (or move to) a certain signal based on a (Trigger Like) set of criteria. For example: Move to the next occurance where Channel A is > 3.3 volts for > 1 usec. I have written VB.Net SW that reads in the CSV files and finds...

Add signal names to waveforms

Most high end scopes support naming signals.
Will Picoscope 6 SW ever support showing signal names?

Even if you only show names in the *.gif file that you save.

Thanks,

Re: Capturing i2c data

Hi,

Your red clock line (Chan B) looks like it is AC coupled
Set Chan B to DC not AC

Also your data looks like it is inverted so a hex x6* = x9*

I hope it helps you

Add a manual Trigger immediate button

I use the 4424 and 6403 scopes a lot, and some times after a trigger event, I would like to see the current state of the channels; so a button that would trigger immediately, and save the waveform without deleting all the other waveforms would really help. Also there are times that after I set up my...

How do you add an offset to correct a probe's zero input?

Picoscope 5 let you correct for an offset when a probe is grounded.
Picoscope 6 is missing this feature.
Will it be added back ?
What is the work around ?

Add extra horizontal cursors

Hi, I have to say that the Picoscope6 SW is fantastic, expecially when new featuers and improvements are added almost on a monthly basis. Great job! It would help a lot in creating reports to have 4 horizontal (time base) cursors, and have printing include cursor values. Thanks again, Frank Fortino ...

Scope display shows 2 views of each waveform ?

I'm using XP Pro; 6.2.2.12; with 3224 scopes
While setting up my 3224, I have seen the following happen:
The scope displays a high freq. view; then immediately
shows a filtered display of each saved waveform.
What causes this to happen ?
How do I diable this double displaying of data ?

Thanks,
