Re: log-scale?

Not Yet...

... spectrum analyzer is so good that it rivals many dedicated audio analyzers and dynamic signal analyzers costing several times the price.

Please  we do a lot of filter measurement in the 20K - 200K range

Resolution bandwith spectrum

Ordinary spectrum analyzers specify their resolution bandwith (RBH). Fx. 9 Khz, 120 Khz, and 1Mhz (hameg HM5530) How can i see/select filter bandwith on my Picoscope. How does it relate to pico settings? Another question that might relate. If i setup a sweep generator to sweep from, say 10Khz to 20K...

Problem Steps Recorder

I don't know if it is common knowledge but here it is. In W7 there is a PSR that can record problems. It is nice when you have to describe what goes on when picoscope crash ( :D it does) It records screenshots as well as text of what your'e doing and it is saved in a zip file. http://www.istartedsom...

Save different startup setting

Now you can only save last used setup.
Would it be possible to save different startup setting.

In my first post it seems that voltage range was +- 2V so that might be the explanation :)

But still no overload varning in spectrum mode !!

Different values spectrum mode

I have a nice clean sinus 133Khz showing 2.23 Vrms in scope mode
In spectrum mode when scale is set to dBV it meassures 6.86 dBV (2.2Vrms). If i set it to arbitrary (1 dBuv) i read 123.9 dBuv (1.56 Vrms).
Why do i see this difference.
