Sounds like Tim had all the same problems that I had. Please see my posts under Picoscope "Hardware"

need return info

Sorry Michael, I hate to do this in the public forum. I have been trying to get the product return info for a week now. Can you please go ahead and send me any RMA numbers, and related return info directlly to my e-mail. I can't have this kind of investment laying around not working. My clients are ...

ADC not connected

I just ordered and received the USB to Parallel adapter for my older ADC -212/100. I have tried both the picoscope software on the R.29 disc and the latest R5_13_9 version from the website. I get an error message when Picoscope is loading that said, "ADC not connected". I am running WinXP Media cent...

Direct running/control of ADC-212 in MATLAB

I have seen the programming examples for Labview, Excel, and VB. Has any body ever tried running in Matlab? Do you have any examples? I would have guessed that Matlab’s math, programming and graphing capabilities would have made it a natural option.

Thanks in advance,
Rich

range of allowable samples?

Hello, I am using Picoscope 5.09.04 with an ADC-212/100 on a Win2K PIII laptop. In the menu: settings-scope options-advanced, there is a place to set max samples per scope trace. What is the min & max range that you recomend me to put in this box? At what point do we exede the memory of the ADC-212/...

meaurments do not match cursor

Hello, I am using an ADC-212/100 on a PIII win2K laptop. When measuring DC voltages after doing the offset null procedure, the cursor measurment is dead on accurate with a hand held Fluke 87 meter. When I use the DC Voltage measurment from the menu, I get different results. They are close, but not c...

cursor measurment question

I think that I am doing something wrong. I am running PicoScope 5.09.4 on a Win 2K laptop with an ADC212-100. When running both channels and using the cursor measurments, I only seem to get results on the "A" channel. Is there a way to make the cursors measure both A & B at the same time? P.S. I LOV...

sample rate math. need proof of quality.

I get this question alot when I talk to guys at work. "Hey that displayed wave from your ADC212-100 looks great on your laptop, but I wonder how many sample points are on the curve? If your sample rate is too slow, you might miss a narrow spike or alias the signal." So, I know that it is capable of ...

I have a different glitch

I have an El`Cheepo laptop with a glitch every so often that fills the whole voltage scale! I have found that every so often, the harddrive does something in the back ground for no apparent reason. Some silly windows thing. It must be moving some data for a half second burst. The glitch in the scree...

Language of choice

Hello, For 99.5% of what I want to do, PicoScope software works just fine. Just to tinker for learning, I want to try writing my own software. What language does Pico use to write the PicoScope and PicoLog software? VB, C/C++, Matlab, ext. Has anybody set up a data link between Pico log/scope and ma...

Your eye pattern prob

I have yet to try this, but try downloading one of the newer versions of pico-scope. These have really cool new display modes. I would try using the analog persistance mode. If that doesn't work then post a reply to your origingal message. I might just try catching that eye pattern waveform this wee...
