Re: Drivers for BeagleBoneBlack and Raspberry Pi

Without meaning to hijack the topic (too much, anyway ;-) )...is there any plan to release the PicoScope application for armhf architecture? Is it that big of a deal to build the application to target armhf, now that the drivers are done? (I have no idea) I'd like to add my vote for that to be relea...

Re: How to get trigger hold off function?

Unfortunately that is not a useful solution for my needs. I need a delay before re-arming the trigger to catch the next event, whenever it might occur. Using a logic trigger with a square wave input would miss randomly-timed triggers half the time (while the square wave is low). It seems like this c...

Re: Pulse Width trigger problem.

Hi, and thanks for the rapid engagement. I really appreciate that. It seems like using another channel on the same signal allows the pulse width trigger mode to function correctly, so perhaps the problem is unique to channel D. I have moved on to other modes of testing which do not rely on the pulse...

Re: How to get trigger hold off function?

Sorry to reactivate an old post, but I am trying to accomplish trigger holdoff with my 3405A and the advanced triggering documentation doesn't make it clear how to set it up. My goal is to trigger on a rising edge of a rapid signal, but no more often than once per second. That is, after a trigger is...

Re: Beta Release of PicoScope for Linux

Looks like this is a very active and recent topic. I just installed the PS6 Beta on Debian 7.6 (Wheezy) x64, and get the same crash. Attached a text file capturing the console output. I sure hope this gets fixed! I can use Windows, but it would be tremendously convenient to be able to use Linux, as ...

Re: Logarithmic frequency axis in spectrum view

It is very nice that there is now a Log 10 view; however, that is equally useless for audio applications, where most instrumentation handles frequencies on a Log 2 scale (corresponding to octaves in pitch on the western diatonic scale). Please consider adding a Log 2 option (or a Log N option would ...

Re: Pulse Width trigger problem.

Hi, I am having a pulse-width trigger problem as well, with channel D on a Pico 3405A. If I use the onboard signal generator maxed at a 2V 1 MHz square wave fed into channel A, I can see the triggering stop if I increase the pulse width beyond 500ns. Just fine. Unfortunately, I am trying to observe ...

Re: Logarithmic frequency axis in spectrum view

Hello! I just bought a PicoScope and also noticed that the User Guide (still) doesn't indicate a way to switch to a logarithmic frequency scale. For many applications (such as audio, an interest of mine), this is a critical feature. Now, a year later from this thread's start, is there any news about...
