Re: Wow and flutter measurement for tape deck

Hi

I am just a user but what I need is what wfgui offers: instant, average et max value of W&F, compatiblity with 3000 and 3150 Hz reference tapes.

And what about the possibility to measure voltage in dBu and dBv ? (along qith the possility to set voltage in RMSin the signal generator).

Re: Wow and flutter measurement for tape deck

And for the same purpose it would be interesting to have measurement in dBu and dBv.

Re: Wow and flutter measurement for tape deck

It can be done through software and there is already a software that does it, "wfgui" (you can google it).

It uses 3.000 and 3150 Hz reference signal (these frequencies are used by genuine test tapes).

It would be nice to calibrate a tape deck with one single tool (speed, w&f, azimuth, levels...).

Signal generator level

Hi

I own a Picoscope 2203 that I am very pleased with.

However, I wonder why I can not go below 250 mV level with the signal generator.

I would also appreciate the possibility to set level as RMS, not amplitude.

Regards.
