Re: Unable to install picoscope on ubuntu mate

Hi, We do not have a version of PicoScope software for the arm platform. But you can install drivers and library files to write your own software to use our PicoScopes and dataloggers. See the section "Drivers for Raspberry Pi" at the bottom of https://www.picotech.com/downloads/linux NOTE we curren...

Re: How to detect the Current Probe Programatically through labview in pico 3000 series scope

Hi, The BNC probe interface on all the 3000 series scopes are completely passive. There is no way to detect the probe connect. So using a current clamp or sensor, the scaling will have to be coded yourself. This scaling could fixed or controlled via front panel button etc. Especially if you have a c...

Re: Picolog 6.1 quite high CPU usage even at idle

Hi Ian, PicoLog 6 uses a database and compresses data before saving to disk. The database memory used is garbage collected. So memory is automatically cleaned up when its no longer referenced. But garbage collection will happen at varying rates. On my desktop I've got 16GB of RAM, so PL6 rarely Garb...

Re: Charting Output ADC20

Hi, To export to csv click on the 'table view' tab, then click the button 'Configure Data Table' Set the desired settings. You can set the 'Output sample rate' to slower the faster channel to down sample the data. In this case the samples in between can be used to display Average, Minimum and Maximu...

Re: PicoScope 4262 streaming in labview

Hi Bartek, On the front panel in the streaming example you can set the sample rate under the 'Acquisition Settings' section. Set 'Desired Sample Interval' to 250 and 'Time Units' to ns, giving 250ns = 4MHz sample rate. The actual 'Sample Interval' is returned on the front panel, you may want connect...

Re: Pico 5243D - Sync scope acquisition with AWG signal output

Yes you can do this in the same way with the Rapid Block Bulk example. As before there is no trigger set on the scope. This gives the fastest Rapid Block capture for the scope. I would first adjust scope timebase and number of samples (pre and post) in the 'Rapid Block Acquisition Settings'. Then ad...

Re: Measurement table showing strange values

Hi, The Min, Max, and Average columns are calculated from the last N waveform buffers in the 'capture count' column. You will notice if you stop and restart the scope, the number waveform buffers in top toolbar increase to the maximum set (default is 32) You can change in- 'Tools' menu -> 'Preferenc...

Hi,

Does the Dell M4700 support hidpi screen resolution feature? This could be causing the issue.
