Re: DLL's for Microsoft Visual Basic 2010 Express

Hello Andreas, If you have downloaded and installed the SDK, there should be no need to add the dll to the project. As the SDK install will the dll locations to the windows 'PATH' variable. What model PicoScope do you have? Which example are you trying to run? https://github.com/picotech/picosdk-vb-...

Re: Several questions about serial decoding

Serial decoding features are not available in the SDK dll's.
You would need to write your serial decoding code or use 3rd parties.

Re: Calculating time difference between two signals

With DeepMeasure you can set this up to do 'time between two signals'- -Set the trigger to Channel A -Setup DeepMeasure on Channel B The start and end times are referenced to the trigger on channel A. By adjusting the trigger level and the threshold in the DeepMeasure you should be able to get measu...

Re: PICOSCOPE 3404B AWG below 1Hz

Increase the number of samples to the maximum it will go, using the right arrow, in the 'Arbitrary Waveform Generator' Window. This will also give the best accuracy for frequency. This worked for the 'AWG set to 50mHz -no longer working.psdata' file you sent in. This is an issue with PicoScope 6, it...

Re: Measurement of Amplitude and Frequency using LabVIEW

Hi, There are no measurement features in our SDK. For say peak to peak use- Use the 'Array Max & Min Function' just subtract min from max value. See- http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/371361P-01/glang/array_max_and_min/ If you want do rms value you use the built in functions- http://zone.ni.co...

Re: PicoScope6000 examples, trigger options doesnt work

Hi, I have reproduced the issue. The reason why its not triggering is because the channel is not enabled. So you will have to create a Channel Settings control for channel D. In the top level vi (PicoScope6000ExampleBlock.vi) select the 'Channel D Settings' terminal on the 'PS6000 Settings' vi block...

Hello, We don't offer Labwindows/CVI examples, but do have standard C examples. You will find these here- https://github.com/picotech/picosdk-c-examples To use these you will need to first install the Software Development Kit from our website at: https://www.picotech.com/download Step 1, select your...

Please work through the first three sections of the Frequently Asked Questions and if this does not resolve the issues. Was the scope working? Did it stop working after you updated Picoscope software? What OS are you using? (The Linux version has just been updated due issues with scopes using the ol...

Re: CM3 USB logger

Hi Marius,

Using a low input impedance on the CM3 won't help.
Using a scope like the 2204A would be a lot better to seen current transients. No settling time issues, and faster sampling.
Note the 2204A is currently supported in Picoscope 6 but also PicoLog 5 software.

Re: 6403D ADC Voltage

Hi, The 6403D has 8-bit ADCs, but the driver returns scaled 16-bit data types (int16_t) (This is the case with all our 8-bit scopes) See page 4 of the users guide for max and min ADC values. https://www.picotech.com/download/manuals/picoscope-6000-series-programmers-guide.pdf So as you said 1V DC si...

Re: GetStreamingLatestValues() - 'PICO_BUSY'

Yes polling the status code in loop is better. Like this-

(pseudo code)
While PICO_BUSY == true
(...wait 1ms,
check again)
then grab the data from buffer

Our LabVIEW example does something like this but uses the wrapper functions.
