Re: Can not load .plw files in PicoLog6 recorded with PicoLog 5.22.8

Have I understood that right and you've updated PicoLog with no backward compatibility? So if I change my ancient shed workshop XP PC to one running Win 7 or Win 10, and upgrade PicoLog from version 5 to version 6, I will be unable to work with my many old recordings? Sounds a major design mistake i...

Re: How to interpret this pop-up display?

OK thanks Martyn, understood. But what is the purpose of that? What practical use is intended?

Latest version for XP?

What is the latest version of PicoLog suitable for my old XP PC please?

Re: How to interpret this pop-up display?

Thanks, but I'm still not getting it. In my earlier examples and both of those in this post, the probe (which was precisely on the blue A-channel signal) shows the correct voltage level. But what is that value for the red, B signal? Can't relate that to any 'co-ordinates'. Could not find the email a...

Re: How to interpret this pop-up display?

Hi Gerry, I'll try to reproduce it when I get back to my workshop. But meanwhile can you advise what exactly that facility is meant to display please? Also, I had no reply to my email Saturday morning asking if your web site was broken. I made several attempts to post this on Saturday, Sunday and Mo...

How to interpret this pop-up display?

I guess I'm missing something obvious here! Hopefully these two screenshots explain my problem: https://www.dropbox.com/s/dtxiuf76hapq59s/Interpretation-1.jpg?raw=1 https://www.dropbox.com/s/qvcnxgyavycgfre/Interpretation-2.jpg?raw=1 I'm using my 2205A with PicoScope 6.11.10.1540, the recommended la...

Message "No web service..."

I had a crash while using 6.13.6.3775 on my Win 10 PC with the demo device. I tried to respond to the request to send you an automatic report. But I got the message shown. As my internet connection is working fine, what could be the issue please?

I saved the file instead and that too is attached .

Re: Pico 2200-Series USB streaming constraints

Thanks Benno, duly updated and I can now open those two files. I'd not done so before because I was concerned that I would not see my results data from the shed (XP PC) exactly the same on my home office (Win 10 PC). But from first impressions the differences, if any, are insignificant. Terry, East ...

Re: Pico 2200-Series USB streaming constraints

Thanks Benno, but I’m told by Pico Support that the version I am using is the last one supporting XP.

Re: Pico 2200-Series USB streaming constraints

Thanks Martyn. Those links were not displayed when I raised my request. They are now, but present a message that a new version of the software is necessary for me to access them, as shown in attached. (I'm still awaiting an answer to my question as to whether the 'Insert image ' tool is broken? IOW,...

Re: Info Please on Operation of AWG Channel on Picoscope 2405A

Hi Irvin, Thinking more about your requirement reinforces my view that using a passive RC low-pass filter may prove unsatisfactory. But without knowing much more about the project and particularly the unwanted interference I can't really be of much help. Was the PWM circuit your own design? If so it...

Re: Info Please on Operation of AWG Channel on Picoscope 2405A

Hi Irvin, I’ve only now (08:15 Tuesday) seen your reply to my two posts yesterday morning and lunch time. Your main reply is time-stamped 13:55 Monday, yet wasn’t present when I checked throughout the day, up until 22:30. Presumably because of moderator delay. So who knows when you’ll see this one! ...

Re: Info Please on Operation of AWG Channel on Picoscope 2405A

Attached are screenshots from bread-boarding your circuit at three frequencies: 70Hz, 1kHz and 10kHz. Lacking a 160 ohm I used a 150 ohm resistor. And as per my post early this morning I used an external signal generator. As expected the results are similar to yours. I haven't done the math but they...
