Re: Disabled Probes C and D

Yes figured it myself after a lot of .....
Nothing indicated that it was lacking power. Then tried Picolog and that showed the power problem.
I think a simple info box showing channel has not enough power is easy to implement saving other users same frustration.

Disabled Probes C and D

I have the 5444D MSO scope for about 1yr. I have always used 2 probes so far without any issues. Now I connected the 3rd probe but it still stays disabled. Both Probe C and D are always disabled.
Tried reinstalling Pico software but still the same.
Any help pls?

Re: Trigger Time

Thanks the Timestamp in the preferences windows may help but is not exactly as I want. You need to compare the Timestamp with the current time and compute difference to get proper Trigger time. I think this is very easy to implement since you already have Timestamp of last trigger. Just add another ...

Re: Trigger Time

No what I mean is time since last trigger.
Ex - I have similar pulses coming in every 5-20seconds. I would need to know the time since the last trigger (or time waiting for trigger) to know the time since the last pulse( or trigger).

Trigger Time

On my old Hameg I had a timer showing time since last trigger. I cannot find this in Picoscope.
This is useful when measuring non repetitive signals.

Re: PicoScope calibration

I have the 5244B. Connecting probes to ground one channel is reading 6mV and the other channel reading 35mV. Does the scope need calibration? If yes do you have a local agent in Malta please?

Re: 5244B - Channel A and Channel B not equal

Ohh... sometimes the mind forgets the simple things :)

It looks like it was the probe picking up more signal inductively. After carefully placing the probes close together I get same signal on both channels.

So is it normal for a probe to pick up some signal inductively when connected in circuit?

5244B - Channel A and Channel B not equal

I've been measuring a signal from a buck converter and noticed that channel A and channel B are not showing exactly the same signal. Channel B is showing a larger ripple than channel A. See file attached.
Any help?

Re: Video decoding

Yes saw that. But it would be nice to have a small window in picoscope itself so while checking the waveforms it displays the video picture. This makes it easy to know if the signal being checked is good or not. I dont have a specific application but I repair satellite decoders and some would have p...

Video decoding

Is it possible to decode video signals with Picoscope? I saw some custom software that works using Picoscope but it would be nice to have something similar integrated in Picoscope sw.
Same feature may apply to audio too.
