Thermocouples by nature need to be referenced. The reading they give is referenced to a "cold junction" in order to calculate the temperature. USB TC-08 Status LED iinterpretations

How should the red/green LED be interprated?
Is is normal operation for it to mostly red and flash shortly green (the frequency depends on the settings in picolog recorder)

I am a new user so just worried over a product flashing with red indications under normal operation.
