Pulse width trigger failing in 6.8.11 with 3404A

Somewhere between Picoscope 6.8.3 and 6.8.11 the pulse width triggering for the 3404A 4-channel scope has been partially broken. With the earlier software all works as expected. With the later software, when triggering from C or D the pulse width triggering only works when no more than two channels ...

Re: Save as CSV tuncates large datasets

That is an unfortunate limitation - not everyone uses Excel and there is no reason to bind everyone to its limitations.
I will investigate using the matlab format output.

Save as CSV tuncates large datasets

When saving a capture containing more than 1M samples, the output is truncated to exactly 1M samples (1,048,576) when saving as CSV or text. The file save dialogue gives a plausible size estimate such as "saving a large file of approximately 76MB" but the file produced is a lot smaller, around 36MB ...

Did someone forget to upload 6.8.8 ?

Trying to download the latest Picoscope software, I make the usual choice of scope (3404A in my case), select PicoScope R6.8.8 for windows, and click 'download R6.8.8'. This takes me to http://www.picotech.com/softdownloader.html where nothing happens so I click on 'Please click here if your downloa...

Re: 3404A advanced trigger fault?

Thanks Ziko. I would not say that less than and outside are working since the width qualifier does not have the desired effect. For example, with a pulse 1.5ms wide and triggering condition set to less than 1.1ms A and B do not trigger (as expected) but C,D or Ext do trigger. Change the triggering c...

3404A advanced trigger fault?

I'm seeing some odd behaviour with my new 3404A related to pulse width triggering. I'm hoping its not a fault but I dont see what else it can be unless there is a bizarre bug in the picoscope software. All channels are functional and simple edge triggering works ok on all channels, but pulse width t...
