Re: 3204A - hardware defect - chip unknown

Hi, I don't understand, why it should not be up to me, how I handle an item which belongs to me. I could not make you responsible for me not being able to fix my scope, as you would have. If you don't want to support this, I will have to accept that, but I don't believe it is the right way to go. Si...

Re: 3204A - hardware defect - chip unknown

No support from helpdesk. They only recommended in-house repair.

3204A - hardware defect - chip unknown

Hi, my scope is not responding any more. I found that 5V input coming from USB has 38 Ohms to GND and 3.3V is not present (only around 1,65V). I assume the chip, where the incoming 5V leads to is defective, but I can not identify what chip this is. Seems to be a TI POWER-DISTRIBUTIONSWITCH "TPSxxx"....

Re: SDK:Save data (*.psdata) for reviewing in Picosope6 soft

I would like to analyze captured data, mainly using a mask to find repeating patterns. But also other features, like identifying a serial protocol stream or run mathematical functions on the data.

Could you provide specifications of the psdata format, so it would possible to write a converter ?

SDK:Save data (*.psdata) for reviewing in Picosope6 software

Hi,

how can I save data using the SDK, so that I can later on load it into Picosope6 ?
If this is not possible, can this be handled as a feature request ?

Thanks,
wo_gue

Re: Debian Repository

When I try to compile (run autgen.sh) on i386, Debian Squeeze I get an error. Looks like Squeeze is not supported. Could you please provide ps3000a.so compiled with gcc-4.4.5-8, so this will also run on Squeeze. Here is the corresponding outputexcerpt of config.log ... configure:14481: checking for ...

Re: Debian Repository

Took some time, but finally this looks pretty good.
Install, compile and running the demo worked fine on Ubuntu 12.02 amd64.
Thanks.

Re: SIGSEGV in libps3000a.so.1

Since obviously there will not be a quick fix for this issue, can you please provide me with some details with which versions of linux, gcc, libstdc++ I can compile and run, not running into any issues ?

Re: SIGSEGV in libps3000a.so.1

Even if I compile and run on a Ubuntu 11.04 Vbox VM I get a SIGSEGV.
BTW, this needs some tweaking, because ps3000alinux_1.1-1_i386.deb requires a libstdc++ newer than the one provided by Ubuntu 11.04, to install.

SIGSEGV in libps3000a.so.1

Hi, I compiled the driver demo PS3000Acon.c without any issues, having installed libusbpico_1.0-1_i386.deb and ps3000alinux_1.1-1_i386.deb. Connecting to the hardware works fine, but when trying to capture any data I get a SIGSEGV. ------------ cat /etc/debian_version wheezy/sid ------------ libc6 2...
