Hi Kevin, The coil on plug probe is not really meant to be used with conventional ignition systems where you have HT leads. For these systems you can just use the ignition pick up leads that clamp on the HT lead. If you really want to use the coil on plug probe with these systems, you can try pointi...

Hi Trollmann, No, unfortunately with PicoScope (oscilloscope software) you can only use one unit at a time. Also you can only use Pico oscilloscopes with PicoScope. If you must have more than 4 channels then you have 2 options, both will have limitations. Option 1 is to use one of our data loggers (...

Hi Trollmann,

No unfortunately it is not possible to combine multiple units to obtain more channels, the software is not capable of doing this.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Best regards,

Ric

Hi Trollmann, It sounds like you need one of our automotive diagnostic kits, http://www.picotech.com/auto/automotive_kit.html These come with a 4 channel scope, so you will be able to test 4 things simultaneously also you can use the current clamps to test the load on the different circuits and test...

Hi,

I'm afraid we do not have linux drivers for the 3206. At the moment we only have linux drivers for some of our older serial and parallel port products.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Hi mpgreen,

I'm afraid this is not possible, the Pico oscilloscope software will only allow you to use one unit at a time. The only way of doing this will be with a dual channel scope.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Best regards,

Hi Chris, The scaling for the 20:1 attenuator is done using a 'Custom Range'. This custom range is already setup in the Automotive Software, it appears in the voltage range drop down box as '-100 - 400V'. If you get in touch with me directly via email or phone I can help you with your particular nee...

Hi Nicolas, I'm sorry I haven't got back to you sooner. These are the specs I have managed to find out, SE011 uses tolerance class B sensor manufactured to BS EN 60751 : 1996. The figures for class B are +/- 0.12 ohms ( 0.3 C) at 0 C. SE012 uses same sensor but classified as 1/10 DIN which means it ...

Hi Sirdowny, I checked this morning and the most they can increase the input range is to +/-10V, I should also mention that in doing so the input impedance is reduced significantly. I think the best option is to use a potential divider, if you choose sensible size resistors of high accuracy, you sho...

Hi Giacomo,

Unfortunately PicoScope only supports Windows. We have Linux drivers for some of our scopes,

http://www.picotech.com/linux.html

but you would need to write your own software.

Best regards,

Thanks for the response Ric. So if I understand correctly, I can use 3 2202s together, but only with the Picolog software and not the Picoscope software. Also I'll be constrained to a max sampling rate of 1 sample/mS. Thats correct. With PicoScope software you cannot use multiple units simultaneous...

Hi sirdowny, Thank you for your enquiry. Using 3 2202 units with PicoLog for logging over a long time is not a problem. The only thing though is that you will not get high sampling rates, the maximum sampling rate with PicoLog is 1 sample per millisecond. This is probably not fast enough to capture ...
