Re: MacOs 10.13.6 - PicoSDK-10.7.20.192 loaded software not seen

You need the PicoScope 6.14.36 software not the SDK.

The SDK is if you want to develop your own software for the scope.

Re: Api/fonction c++

You can get everything over here on github

https://github.com/picotech

I think you need the 4000A sdk samples for the 4824

Re: Why does the AWG signal drop when I connect the ground lead to 0V in an RC circuit?

because the output impedance of the sig gen is 600 ohm.

if you want it to be 0 ohm the you need a amplifier between the sig gen and your test setup.

but a amplifier with 0 ohm output blows up if you short circuit it because the current would be infinite.

Re: Spectrum Analyser Ghost Problem

This is a problem with all calculate spectrum analyzers if the input frequency is above the sample frequency.

Tested with Fluke 196C and exactly the same.

Re: Capture RS485 data

If you want to capture all the data you are better of at streaming mode. depending on the capability's of the 2206B e.x. Total buffer size 2GS (blue arrow) 1Sec/div (or 500ms/div) (red arrow) and have at least 500kS/sec sample rate (you can see this in the property's window green arrow below) If you...

Re: 24V logic analyzer

I have a reflow oven over here but this time i was lazy. I ordered the pcb with all SMD parts by JLC cost me only 12 euro for 5 pcb's including all the SMD parts. Shipping was 14 euro.

24V logic analyzer

I have made a converter bord to convert 24V PLC signals to the picoscope logic analyzer. It has LED indicator if there is 24V or not and can be coupled to the D0-D15 input of the picoscope. 2 of these units can be daisy chained so you have 16 inputs (each board has 8 inputs). It works with positive ...

Re: USB Isolator for 4444 Picoscope

why do you need a USB isolator ? The 4444 has differential inputs so no usb isolator needed.
Unless you want to hook it up to the power lines, not wise to do.

Usb isolator 12mbit is usb1.0 and probably only 400mA or so.

Re: 2204A Serial Decoding Modbus RTU

your sample rate is far to low
for 19200 baud you need at least 5 times that as sample rate so 80kS or 100kS /sec should do it.

Re: Help deciding on PicoScope for FRA for Switch-Mode PSUs

the memory depth is depending what the highest frequency is you want to measure. And the duration you want to see the data of. The sample rate of the scope needs to be 5 - 10 times the frequency you want to see. The lower end 2000 models can max sustain 1 M/samples per second. So you can use the pc ...

Re: Signal Generator in Picoscope 6 not working

you need to connect the output of the signal gen to the input of 1 of the scope channels and activate that channel.

Re: Cannot choose ENABLE FILTER on PicoScope 6

You can add a math channel with a low pass filter.

Depending on the filter value you will get a straight line or a line with a slight wobble.

Re: Picoscope 4444 and 442 probe: locked to 100kHz

Tested on my 4444 and 442 ant it is indeed locket at 100kHz

Simple test with a function generator 20Vp-p 100kHz
2021-02-13_20-44-20.png
Blue ChA = 441 probe
Red ChB = 442 probe

At 1 en 5MHz the 442 still recognizes the wave but at only 50% of the real value
