Re: Capturing data without software

You could mount a raspberryPi on the scope the weight of the PI is a lot less than de picoscope.
You will however need a power supply for the PI and the Scope. (5V DC)

The PI can store all recorded data on the internal SD card for evaluation.

Re: PicoScope 4824 Trigger Mode greyed out

You need to enable at least 1 analog channel to do triggering.

Re: Gap time between buffers

Use the SDK and streaming mode
Then you can do at least 10MS/sec for as long as you like.

PS 4444 100khz filter not working on CHB and CHD

Today I was measuring some low voltage signals 2-3 mV and discovered that the hardware 100kHz fitter is not working on channel B and D. The 1 MHz filter works as expected as the no filter also works as expected. I have one of the first models of this scope (serial no 14) can it be that this was a ha...

Re: Can I measure dirty electricity with 2204A and TA375?

you can also read something about this in this post

But it is always dangerous to measure on the net.
If you don't know what you are doing then don't do it !

Re: Pressure transducers powered by Picoscope 4444 ?

You should ask picoscope this. I only figured out the resistor values and which of these put the output power on.
The scope sets the probe type to what is detected by the resistor. (in this case current 100mv/A i think)

TDM decoding

Is it possible to add TDM decoding to the standard decoders ?
TDM is almost the same as I2S exept the LRCLK is used as sync pulse and there are more (usually 8) data words after the sync pulse.

Re: Best practices for using a large number of scopes

what differences in time do you want to measure, you said 1000 triggers / second but not the number of samples for each trigger. For example if you want to measure time differences of 1us you need to sample at at least 0.2us intervals so you need then 5.000.000 samples / sec. P.S. the 1000 triggers ...

Re: Using a Picoscope as SPI/I2C generator

I use this USB - spi - i2C converter to generate i2c and SPI signals.

It a lot less complex than using the AWG as generator.

Re: Preserving Signal Attenuation between Scope and PC

be aware you don't have DHCP so you should probably assign fixed IP addresses if the laptop's can not 'see' each-other. First try this in the office with only an network cable between both laptop's and not connected to any switch. Depending on the type of NIC in the laptop (especially older ones) yo...
