Re: How to use setPulseWidthQualifier?

What is the resolution above the 508 ns you want it to fire.
I am thinking about streaming mode en generate trigger moment yourselves.

Re: Picoscope retaining file handles

Ok attempted to reproduce the problem first time explorer is trying to move the file but stays always at 0% (no screen recording of it) closing the Picosope program did not release the lock. So it could be some other external program (stack data synchronization or virus scanner or .....) I will try ...

Re: Picoscope retaining file handles

Yes I noticed the same yesterday. It is not keeping the file handle because then explorer would tell you this. In my case it was moving a file after saving it with Picoscope software. PicoScope® 6 - PC Oscilloscope software version: 6.14.5.4585 Driver Version: 2.1.22.1688 Firmware Version: 1.7.5.0 /...

Re: Continous edge counting

Please try the following option.
2019-10-30_17-06-38.png
Timebase 2 or 5 sec/div (depending on over what time you want to count the pulses)
And then increase buffer size (green arrow) until sample rate (right red arrow) is 50kS.

Stop the trace before the trace is at the ent of the screen.

overview buffer switches A-C and B-D

In the overview buffer (full zoomed out) the during the trace ch A-C and B-D are switched for a short time. The real data (when zooming in on the data) shows the correct data. The switch-over appears to be always at the same location and always on the left side of the screen.

    Re: picoscope file format

you are on your own in this.
it is a closed file format and they won't give the information.
If you have enough determination and your programming skills are good enough you can do it.
if you know the basics it is not a complex format.

Re: Streaming mode at high sampling rate

From here USB 3.0 is about ten times faster, with a theoretical maximum transfer rate of about 400 MB/s. USB 3.0 PicoScopes have exceeded 150 MS/s in tests. Each sample is (most of the times 16bits or 2 bytes) so the max you...

    Re: ps3000 RapidBlock and GetValuesOverlappedBulk

If you want everything you can go streaming mode (max 125MS/sec) for 2 channels that will be 62.5 MS/sec. You will need to do the trigger detection in software and not in the thread collecting the data from the scope. The process needs to be fast enough to analyse the 250MB of data every second. And...

Re: Time difference between analogue and digital signal

ok that is not 70 but 64 us (or 63.8 us) depending on where you measure. At 8 ns sample interval this is 8000 samples. Looking at the interference from the SCK signal on the analoge measurement I see exactly 64 us. This is in all the 32 samples you posted exactly the same. I guess something went off...

Re: PicoScope 6 stops receiving data

Try using the scope directly on a USB-3 port on the pc, It can be the USB hub is not wel on handling the high-speed data. I have had some strange behavior of the scope when connected to a hub with more than only the scope. Most time i use a dedicated USB-3 for the scope (with or without 5m USB-3 ext...

Do you have connected an external power supply to the scope.
Are you using a USB3 port or a USB hub or something like that.

Are you sure both inputs are connected to the same data line.

A simple test over here with bult in signal generator shows no time difference at all.

See above screen shot. Same scope as you have and time-base set at 200 ns /div

Set the scope to +/- 10 V and click on the square box on the bottom.
There you can set the scale to 2, then you have almost what you want.
