Re: Enviromon and Pt100 thermocouples.

Thanks Ziko,
I was rather hoping that Pico could supply a more elegant solution for Pt100s. I'm in Belgium and use Rato in Antwerp as our supplier. I have ordered 4 Pt100 to 4-20mA converters from Conrad and will build my own module to add them to our Enviromon network.

Enviromon and Pt100 thermocouples.

Considering what a fantastic device the Enviromon is, I find it strange that there is no module for PT100 thermocouples. Is there any way to add PT100s to an Enviromon network ? Maybe first convert to 4-20mA ? Any suggestions ?

Re: Using DDE with Enviromon

Thanks Ziko, we are in a situation where if we cannot get DDE to work with the latest version of the software we will have to replace 3 complete Enviromon systems, as some things that we measure are now happening faster than your software can measure. I'm sure that there is a simple way of increasin...

Re: Using DDE with Enviromon

Thanks for your reply Ziko, but I was hoping for a better response from Pico. You can hardly expect your customers to downgrade their software , which they have just upgraded to get the extra functionality, just because someone has forgotton to check that DDE works before compiling the new version. ...

Using DDE with Enviromon

Having posted probably incorrectly under Hardware, I thought that I would add the results of my tests to this thread.I enclose my Excel file with the following code. Using the command/link =EMW|Current!Value just returns #N/A in Excel. Under further investigation the following VBA code gives a bit m...

Increasing the frequency of measurements

I need to measure faster than 1 measurement per minute and would like to use DDE to write the current value to Excel and then use VBA to produce a short term high speed logger ( one reading per 10 secs ) Unfortunately the function =EMW|Current!Value just returns #N/A in software version R5.21.3 I sa...
