You are seeing the same problem. The ADC-40 has no on board memory. The USB to parallel adapter would allow streaming and smoother mouse action.

3224 Bandwidth

Hi

The analogue bandwidth of the 3224 is specified as 10MHz. You might consider the 5000 series as an alterative for the high speed video data capture application you describe. Please see here:

If you are using the XP Operating system, a way round this problem is to use a USB to parallel apapter.

This device was designed in pre-XP days where earlier operating systems handled parallel port communications differently.
