Re: Frequency measurements

I've requested a similar change before. With the 4262, you have 16-20bit resolution, but only 4 digit readout. All that resolution is just wasted in this case. Making the readout digits adjustable should be a no brainer, my handyscope has it since 2005.

feature request: indicator for ETS

V6.6.16.12 When the PS4262 goes into oversampling mode, the fact is not indicated in the properties window. It only shows the 10MS/s max sampling rate. This can have some unexpected results if the signal itself is not stable. Please add an indication (e.g. ETS sampling rate in red) to the properties...

Pico 6.6.16 crashing repeatedly

SW V 6.6.16.12 keeps crashing. Using Win7, PS4262, 10us time base, it crashes when I try to pull on a time ruler.
see attached report
old Beta 6.6.10.1 is working just fine

feature request: measure Left-Right

Could you please add an option to the measurement types: Subtract the Left sample value from the Right? I think that this should be easy to do. Using "Between Rulers" as the section of the graph would then give an easy way to accurately determine the voltage difference between two points of the samp...

Re: Measurement resolution

Thank you for the reply.
Is the next software version able to display a better measurement resolution? 20 bits should give 6 sognificant digits, not only four. It shouldn't be difficult to make the resolution adjustable, especially since you have the high accuracy scope now.

Measurement resolution

Hi,

Is there a function to set the resolution of the automatic measurements? E.g. with the PS4262, I can sample with up to 20 bits, but the measurements default to only four significant digits.
And is there a way to make the readout larger?

Thank you for your help!

Re: noise when use x100 probe with picoscope 4227

Measuring lightning impulses with a normal oscilloscope isd notoriously unreliably. There is a reason why the impulse scopes are so expensive. Not only are stray currents affecting the measurement, and voltage drop over the ground leads is creating noise in the attenuator; the strong electro-magneti...
