Re: issue with 3424 and block mode vi
aiyoung, The trigger threshold will be the ADC count of the trigger channel voltage range. For example, say you are triggering off of channel A, channel A is on the 2V voltage range, and you want to trigger at 3mV, you would input in 49. You figure this by desired trigger level * 32764 / voltage ran...

Tom,
Without seeing the waveform it's hard to guess at what the issue is exactly. Can you capture a waveform and save the .psdata for us?

Re: Power supply PS3204 KIT
Hello, The PicoScope 3204, 3205 and 3206 PC Oscilloscopes are normally powered from the USB port of the computer. If the computer and the equipment under test are both referenced to the same ground, a "ground loop" may be created. This may degrade the DC accuracy and noise performance when measuring...

Re: Need Help
Hi Sam, First thing, on the top of the software does the title bar say "PicoScope 6", or "PicoScope 6 Automotive"? I have a feeling that PicoScope 6 got installed which is for our general purpose scope (still loads the PicoScope 4423 however), whereas you need PicoScope 6 Automotive. Download the la...

Olaf,
Is your device correctly identified in the Device Manager as a PicoScope 2000 series PC Oscilloscope?

Re: Are there any diagnostic tests to run on my adc-212?
Coolwood, Since I'm assuming that you didn't make any changes to the computer setup (port changes etc), that this would indicate that some components on the scope/USB-Parallel adapter have been damaged. The unit will have to be sent back to Pico for repairs. If you wanted to do this you need to send...

edale1283, I'm unfamiliar with the "Software for HH800-SW" disk. I imagine that this is not the correct disk that you were suppose to have received. Download the latest version of PicoScope 6 Automotive from http://www.picotech.com/software.html. After you install the software and plug the USB cable...

deepfritz7,
You can get around the relay switching issue by using a recording method of Streaming (single converter only) rather than Real time continuous.

Re: AC RMS measurement using custom software
Ashish, You are correct in your observation - the ps3000.dll only returns the raw data samples and there are no mathematical functions are built in. Do to the wide application use, it would be impractical for the software developers to include all functions into the .dll. However, with a bit of Goog...

Re: Using PiCOSCOPE with a NetPC
Petlee, If you are referring to the Netbook style PC's that have been very popular in the past year or so then yes. These are very similar to your traditional laptops, just smaller and less expensive. Even with the bargain units, the most you will probably notice is a ever so slightly decrease in re...

Florin,
If you are wanting to use the PS-3204 over wireless, read the following article describing how to do this with a Wireless USB Hub: http://www.picotech.com/support/kb/kbfi ... USBHub.pdf

Re: Visual Basic help pc4424
Rdang16, I tried out the 4424.zip program that you posted and it opens the unit fine. Most likely the program isn't referencing the ps4000.dll correctly, be sure to either place the ps4000.dll in the same folder as your project or reference the full path of the driver. The reason for the crashing wh...

Nogaluca, The unit is not going to work properly if you are not calling the pl1000ready function as this function polls the driver and determines when the data has been collected. If the function is not working, there must be an incorrect value getting past somewhere along the way. Attached is a qui...

Fredrik, Going by the three images that you posted, I wouldn't necessarily state that the values are inconsistent - You are comparing a zoomed out capture to one that is basically zoomed in x200. The short window that you are looking at you are going to see the values change drastically as the burst...
