TA299

Is it possible to configure the 4444 scope with 4 TA299 probes so you get 8 ground-referenced channels?

Re: usb isolation - more questions

Thank you for your reply. - Will my computer be electrically isolated by the Pico4444 if I am measuring voltages under 30 volts that are ground referenced to the mains? Here's an example of what I am trying to do. I have an old machine with 4 analog meters on it showing different parameters. It is p...

usb isolation

Hello,

Do I need to isolate my picoscope 4444 USB from the desktop computer even if I am working on mains circuits?
What if I am using four TA271 adaptors which have only one BNC instead of two?

Re: impedance calculation

Hello, Thanks for your reply and the diagram. Of course, the more information I can get, the better, but I don't actually need more than just the AC rms impedance value because I am only making comparison measurements to a "known good" value. I thought there might be some mathematical technique or c...

impedance calculation - Power Factor

Hello, I'm working with a 12 volt AC signal. I have the Voltage on channel A and the TA018 current clamp on channel B I would like to calculate the impedance using a math channel A/B, and a measurement, but where the current goes through zero, the signal goes out of range. How do I get around this p...

60Hz interference

Hello, I know it's been a long time since I've checked the forums, but I recently purchased an automotive starter load tester which has a Torque and an RPM gauge on it. With my picoscope connected across the two gauges, I wanted to use the math channels to calculate horsepower. (HP = T X RPM/5252) I...

Re: quantum stream

Hi, Thanks for replying. This is a copy of what I got while trying to download the beta 6.3.4: ERROR POO7: Danger. Quantum stream detected. Exiting I am running a picoscope 3223, connected via a B&B electronics USB isolator, antivirus software AVG 9.0, and have my 3GHz Pentium plugged into a wireles...

can the excel 'paste as link' command show both channels?

I have a picoscope 3223, and wanted to use it to calculate values based on variables from both channels. For example, if I measure voltage on ch A, and have an amp probe on ch B, then I would like to know what the wattage of the device under test is. Ch A volts X Ch B amps = watts. I tried the paste...

software does not recognize 3223 anymore

Dear Sirs, Your 3223 scope was great, but now it no longer works. I may have had a ground fault glitch or something??? Microsoft windows opens a little balloon stating that it found new hardware as soon as I plug in the USB cable. The red light comes on in the front of the picoscope box. Then when I...
