ets on picoscope 4227 does not function on newer software

Other functions appear to work fine on Windows 7 laptop (i3) with picoscope 4227 and version 6.14.44.5870 but ets just gives blank screen. Other trigger modes work fine. To check if its was software versus hardware, I went to an older Windows XP (Pentium 4) machine installing version r6_6_57.exe. ET...

Re: New Picoscope Beta Release Available for Download

I had previously stated: "Beta version R6.6.7 appears to function on my Vista Laptop, but on my Pentium 3 desktop, it crashes on startup. The production version R6.5.80 functions on both the Vista Laptop and the Pentium 3." I had reformatted and reinstalled Windows XP to get rid of all un-needed pro...

Re: Input Protection between overload and Max

Can you tell us about how overload protection works? Is there any clamping on the inputs above 20v working range? It seems unlikely that the input amplifier or ac coupling switching would present 1megohm impedance all the way to the 100 volt overload protection point.

Input Protection between overload and Max

On my 4227, usable input is +-20v and Overload protection is said to be +-100v. Is there some kind of clamping action or reduced input impedance for inputs above +20v or below -20v. Suppose, for example, that I am measuring a 500v DC level with a 100x probe (with ~99ohm series resistor into the 1meg...
