Re: Saving all channel waveforms after trigger

The save on trigger video will work, when specifying the save file name if you change the type to csv you would be able to export the data as a csv file, all the channel data would be on the same sheet though.

Re: OpenUnit doesn`t work

The 2206B is one of the 2000a devices, so the 2000 functions will not work. Have you tried downloading and running our example code from GitHub you will need the 2000a Examples and the

Re: Saving all channel waveforms after trigger

If you use Advanced Triggers -> Logic Trigger and select the "OR" logic trigger you will be able to trigger the scope to capture all four channels of data if one of the trigger events is met. You can then use Tools->Alarms to save the current buffer on the Capture event, and then restart the scope t...

Have you looked at Persistence Mode and use with an advanced trigger with both rising and falling edge.

    Re: 5244A and 5244D

Apart from USB3 the D model has twice the memory compared to the A version, and will also work on the majority of USB2 ports with a single headed cable, although you can use a double headed cable if the single port doesn't provide enough power. You will need the latest version of the SDK (10.6.13 )t...

You need the ps5000a examples from GitHub, the ps5000 one is for a much older device.

    Re: Add Measurements to python?

The values you get in the buffers will be ADC counts, unless you have selected downsampling you only need to consider the Max buffer as this will contain all the sample points that make up your signal. If you parse through this firstly to find the maximum and minimum ADC counts, and then re-parse to...

    Re: TA018 Current Clamp inconsistent

The wire will need to go through the centre of the clamp perpendicular to the plane for best accuracy.

What current are you measuring, and is this with a PicoScope? If so a psdata file would be useful to take a look at.

Re: csv file missing 90 % of the data

There was an explicit issue with 6.1.5 which was identified and addressed with the release of 6.1.9 , so the current release 6.1.10 will not show these issues.

Are you sure that you are measuring the correct signals, they are very low level ?

Please post a picture of your setup, and the psdata file you have captured.

    Re: ps4000aGetTimebase() return value PICO_INVALID_CHANNEL

This function is more of a sanity check, if you understand the timebase values, number of channels enabled, and memory of the scope you don't actually need to use it.

A number of functions in the driver, including this one, are there to support the operation of our PicoScope 6 software.

    Re: ps4000aMaximumValue/ps4000aMinimumValue results

These will return the Maximum and Minimum ADC value for the current scope setup. There are different devices supported by this driver, and some will return different values depending on setup, but not all.
