Re: Timebase issue

Timebase 0 will only work with one enabled channel, timebase 1 with two. By default all channels are enabled by the driver when opening the device so you need to explicitly turn them off in your code.

Re: use 6404C waveform generator in labview

All the SDK installer does is to install the driver and library files to allow the scope to be accessed, it does not install any programmes that will run. If the SDK install runs then you should be able to download the VI's from GitHub and they should work. Please note that you need the SDK and exam...

Re: picoscope 6 and windows 10 enterprise edition

In theory there shouldn't be a problem, if you find you have issues then please send the details to support@picotech.com and the team will be able to look at them for you.

You will need the ps2000a drivers and examples, not the ps2000 ones which are for the older models in the series.

Re: I think I destroyed my scope

The simple answer is "trusted what you saw on a YouTube video". The reason we do not advise the use of the general scopes for Automotive work is that they do not have the same level of input protection. That is why the automotive diagnostic software will only work with the the Automotive Scopes. If ...

Re: Differential Manchester encoding

Thanks for clearing that up. I will add the request for the team to consider however I will caution that, as this is the first request, it will be relatively low priority.

Re: Differential Manchester encoding

Often the decoders will work on a single leg of a differential signal subject to noise. If noise prevents this in your setup then you can use two channels and create a Math Channel (A-B) and use that for decoding.

Re: Changing from PS4000 to PS5000a

There will potentially be some changes, however it would be better to discuss these via support@picotech.com

Send an email explaining which functions you are using from the 4000.dll and the team will be able to advise on potential differences when transferring to the 5000a.dll
