Re: Does Pico 3206 support advanced triggers?

Unfortunately the 3206(no suffix) is a very old device and does not support advanced triggers.

You can find a list of the features and which devices support them in the inbuilt user guide, just go to Help->User'sGuide

Re: Installing Picoscope on Raspbian Stretch (Raspberry Pi 3 B)

Please email support@picotech.com and the team will assist you. You should not be trying to install PicoScope and instead just using something like

sudo apt-get install libps5000a

with the appropriate library for your PicoScope, to get the drivers.

Re: Data Loss During Streaming 5442D

The 5442D is capable of streaming on a single channel at ~156MS/s, so 100 times your rates. Therefore it would suggest that your streaming issues are not related to the devices capabilities, but more likely the way the streaming application has been constructed. Please email your code to support@pic...

Re: Why a limit of 256KiB on uploads to this forum ?

png is a supported format. I carried out a test using WIndows 10 Snipping Tool to create a full screen png image which was only 100KiB and attached that successfully. As did a PicoScope 6 entire Screen capture which is only 71KiB.

What are the png images of ?

Re: 6404D Aux Triggering not working

The threshold would need to be set appropriately in the +/-5V range which m,ay be an issue.

I would suggest you send your code into support@picotech.com and the team can take a look on a live system.

Re: Measure Line Voltage with Picoscope 5000 Series

The standard probes are x1/x10, and the maximum input voltage for the scope is +/-20V so you would still be over range even though you are taking the necessary safety measure of using an isolation transformer.

Make sure that your Windows 10 installation is fully up to date, particularly the .NET components, and if you are still having difficulties email the details to support@picotech.com

Re: Baseline Error? Noise?

The PicoLog 6 software just zooms in automatically to a greater zoom level so you can see the discrete ADC steps.

Re: Getting the device to tell me how many analog channels it has.

The second digit in the name gives the number of channels, and this can be read using the GetUnitInfor call.
