Re: LabView 5244D 5000D Series Startup

For the 5244D you will need ps5000a examples and files, not ps5000 ones which are for a much older device.

Re: I want to measure ±20V voltage with the 6407

You can cascade the attenuators to achieve the desired level, the suitability of this will depend on your specific use case which is why I suggested emailing our support team.

Alternatively you will need to source an alternative which provides the exact attenuation you need.

Re: I want to measure ±20V voltage with the 6407

Suitable attenuators can be found here https://www.picotech.com/oscilloscope/6407/picoscope-6407-accessories#tab_rf-test-accessories You need to get the 20V down to 100mV to be measured safely by the PicoScope 6407, but if you are unsure of what attenuation will do in your situation please email sup...

Re: Analog BW filter in SDK?

The 2000B series devices do not have a hardware Bandwidth Limiter, but they do allow the application of a Low Pass Filter.. The Low Pass Filter is a software function applied after the data has been collected, the algorithm will apply either a Moving Average Filter or a Finite Impulse Response Filte...

Re: Pico Scope 6824E C# RunBlock method max nº of samples

If you have installed the SDK you will have the PicoStatus.h file in C:\Program Files\Pico Technology\SDK\inc which lists the error codes // The buffer length in bytes is greater than a 4-byte word. #define PICO_BUFFER_LENGTH_GREATER_THAN_INT32_T 0x00000204UL you will also find ps6000aApi.h which in...

Re: VNA 106 with LabVIEW

Good to hear.
Although the example states 32 bit LabVIEW we have made a change to the installer for the VNA which makes the dll consumable by 64 bit as well. I will get the description updated.

Re: XOR Logic Trigger on the 4000A

You don't call it 16 times you create an array with 16 structures in, and then call it once saying that you have 16 structures. This will then OR all 16 structures.

To use Channels C and D you need to make sure that you have the mains power adapter connected to the scope.

Re: Serial Decode on graph does not update when changing buffers

Can I suggest you post the psdata files and not just the screen shots, then we can see the settings.

I would also suggest changing the timebase (time across the screen) so the data packet occupies more of the screen.

I would suggest posting the psdata file associated with this so that we can look at the settings in more detail.

Re: Problems with the UART decoder

I have just checked more carefully, and the issue is that the baud rate is not quite 115.2kB and if you opt for custom decoding with a rate of 119kB you can decode the data correctly at 8-N-1 , so your software is correct but there is a slight error in the timing. With single characters you wouldn't...

Re: Problems with the UART decoder

If you setup the decoder as 7 data bits no parity and 1 stop bit, but do not tick the Invert box. Your data is decoded as "hello" , which I am guessing is correct.

I would move the trigger to 20% rather than 50% to see the remainder of the message correctly.

Re: Problems with the UART decoder

I agree that it is 7-N-1 and that you do not need to invert in the decoder as the signal has the correct Idle High state.
