DREAM WISH LIST FOR PICOLOG

Post by Glovisol » Fri Jul 29, 2016 3:32 pm

Notable additions to the capabilities of PICOLOG software would be:

1) Ability to operate the digital outputs (if available in the hardware) in programmable PWM mode. This mode of operation is now only possible with PICOSCOPE.

2) Ability to have the digital outputs (if available in the hardware) operated by the alarms of the Math Channels. At present only the input channel alarms operate the digital outputs.

I really hope (dream) to see the above happening in a not too distant future!

Work is being done to obtain independent, physical digital outputs for both physical and calculated parameter channel alarms in Picolog. It is hoped to have this facility very soon.

MULTIPLE UNIVERSAL ALARM ACTUATOR SOFTWARE WITH PHYSICAL HARD WIRED OUTPUTS

It is now possible to take any alarm generated by Picolog on any Picotech hardware type (both direct channel and calculated channel) and drive external devices (relays and/or microprocessors). The number of outputs can be as high as the number of available channels on the Picolog device.

For details see the "Christmas special" on the PICOLOG section.
