review waveforms

can anyone tell me how i can freeze the scope and go back and review the samples?

Hi and thank you for your post.

If you press the space waveform to pause a signal.
Then click on "File-> Save As" choose a name. It will save it as .psd format which can then be loaded on PicoScope at any time.

Hi thanks, i probably didnt explain what i wanted properly. I need to freeze and go back to view the samples that have been stored and how many samples does it store? are the captured traces stored in a buffer?

Hi sorry for the confusion.

The only way you can view previous waveforms on the current version of PicoScope, is to do a Save On Trigger. By default you can view 100 captures, although this can be changed in the ini file.
